The massive construction directly outside the hotel made it inaccessible for a taxi to drop you off. This is due to the new Metro being built and likely to go on into 2026.

Easy check-in. The room was clean. It was great having a toilet separate from the bath/shower room but could have done with a small sink within to wash your hands.

Location was awful - warned prior to staying by Uber driver not to walk around location alone, my room had a large vent which was loud overnight, arrived at hotel room and bin hadn’t been changed- overflowing with used sanitary towels

There was MAJOR construction taking place on the street in front of the hotel. Our taxi driver could not even drive on the street to get us there. The neighborhood is a little rough.

The nearby construction is impacts the access to the hotel.

It is located 7-10min walk from Brussels Midi station. A bunch of restaurants and super market shops close by. There’s construction going on in the area so the accessibility via car may be an issue and there’s some noise too. Other than that, the hotel has epic location.

Did not check the location prior to booking (I guess it is my fault rather). But when travelling with family, I would choose more pleasant location. The wellness was ok, but hamam was not working during our stay and the doors in sauna was not closed properly. There was too much chlorine in the jacuzzi that the smell even gave me a headache.

The location close to Brussels Midi station was good except for all the building work that is going on. It means the area outside the hotel is dirty and unpleasant.

Significant roadworks in front the hotel at the time of stay. Hard to access via car.

I had to go down to collect cups, fork and iron. The staff wouldn't send it to the room. This was unusual for a 3 star hotel and chain like mercure. The housekeeping said they couldn't clean the room after 11 am and hence we had to skip the room cleaning.

It was clean and walking distance to Brussels Midi station.

In the room : Lack of confort (one of us slept 4 nights in an old clic-clac sofa which was not worth paying for). In the room it is either all the lamps in or shut, with only two “reading” lamps which hardly allow to read. No sleepers nor bathrobe available (for the spa you just keep your shoes with plastic protection and go back barefoot to your room), no body-cream nor conditioner available, the electric plug in front of the glass only accepts razors. Toilet paper holder, towel hanger and shower pipe slightly broken. The light of the bathroom mirror is far too light (impossible to make up in the gloom). Quality of the towels could have been much better. We got a room with a door communicating to another room : the acoustic was terrible. In the hotel : the snacks were actually only pizza. No bottle of water at the bar (nor in the room), you have to drink from cardboard glasses at the hall fountain. One tapped beer only.

Not crowded, clean, access to terrasse, very quiet, very good breakfast, efficient curtains, possible to open large windows to get fresh air.

While the location of the hotel is very convenient it is in a rather dirty part of the city, probably due to the construction in front of the hotel. But once inside the hotel you don't really notice any of that.

Rooms are well equipped, super clean and very comfortable. Reception staff were great. The Spa facilities were really a bonus.

Although it can't be helped, the location was very run down, and dirty with rubbish on the streets evwrywhere.

Once inside the hotel was extremely pleasant. Everything was presented to a high standard. Clean. Warm. Welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.
