Minir issue but auto spray fragrance (used a lot in bolivia and south america) in common room gives me headaches and seems unnecessary.

Breakfast was diverse and excellent everyday.. Ruth and staff very helpful and friendly. Beautiful artwork and quality furnishings. Quiet safe neighbourhood. Helpful to travellers.

The hostal is in a nice, quiet location, but still central. Ruth, the manager, is incredibly helpful and kind and we loved our big room with a view of the mountains. Access to a kitchen also a plus.

It's a calm haven in La Paz. Tastefully and beautifully decorated space, super comfy beds and a delicious fresh breakfast every morning. Ruth and her colleague are so warm and friendly and are there to help with anything you need. The neighbourhood is fab with amazing cafes & restaurants in walking distance. Would 100% recommend this place if you're in La Paz.

The hot water was on and off throughout the stay. For the most part it worked, but could be improved.

We ended up staying here for 8 nights total over the course of two weeks heading out of town for a few overnight trips in between. The hostel itself is wonderful. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet, the breakfast is great, there is a kitchen that we cooked dinners in a few nights, and the common areas/terraces are very nice. It is kind of a hotel/hostel mix, you get the best of both. Social common areas and nicer more private rooms. We really liked the location in Sopocachi, there is a grocery store close by, many good bars and restaurants, beautiful plaza avaroa, a gym, and you are still a quick walk or minibus ride from the historical center. Best of all here though was the staff. Ruth and Nandy were both wonderful and it was nice spending time with them in the mornings and learning from them about the city. Ruth booked our tours for Chacaltaya, Uyuni, and Huayna Potosi, which were all incredible. Nandy was very accommodating with our arrival time and other general requests during our stay. Overall would highly recommend the Rendevous for anyone heading to La Paz.

Excellent value for money. The Hostal is in a quiet street but well located area of the city close to restaurants, supermarkets and shops. It is a short walk or taxi to the Belen or other tourist districts, it is also really close to the Mi Teleferico station which is a great way to see the city(and cheap). Staff were super friendly and spoke good english(which helped us as our Spanish is poor) and the included breakfast was the best I've had since travelling in SA. Had a good kitchen which was nice as we didn't feel like eating out every night and the rooms were comfortable and really large. Highly recommend :)

the property was in a wonderful, safe location. you could walk to the market, different restaurants, the teleférico, etc. staff was super helpful and available via WhatsApp and in person. the room was large and very comfortable and clean!

We had several issues in this hotel: There is no employees available, we had to wait 30min at sun to open the door. Our sink was trowing water on the floor. And the worts part: There is NO hot water! they say it’s “like that” and we spent two days with no shower! They told us if we dont like to leave!
