Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI had dinner there on my last evening. I paid in $R cash and the wait staff said that they didn't have change, nor did they make any attempt to get me my change, so was it okay that I let them keep it, which I did.
The best thing about my stay at Intercity was the people at the front desk, especially Ana, & Murilo (who spoke perfect English) they were so warm and friendly. Then there was Neia who worked in the breakfast room along with the cooks. They made sure that I was comfortable.

BrazilBed was a little uncomfortable.
Clean hotel and very spacious room. The breakfast was plentiful. Would stay here again if I had to be in this area of Salvador again. Was perfect for taking an early morning bus from the bus station nearby.

IrelandWe tried to order room service as we arrived late but there was no menu in the room so it was difficult to order on the telephone.
We requested a cot for our baby and it was all set up in the very large room when we arrived. The receptionist had good English and was very helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

GermanyThere's not even a kettle in the room to boil water, the wi-fi was terrible on the 18th floor and there were zero signs in the garage telling where to go when you park your car. The property charged me 70 reais per day to stay with my dog. They provided a "pet kit" that came with a very cheap bad-smelling dog mat, two plastic bowls and a pee mat (the kit wasn't in the room when I got there, I had to request it). If they're gonna charge you 70 reais per day for your pet, more than I have ever paid to take my dog to a hotel anywhere on the planet, they should definitely improve this. Even though they have a rooftop and a whole building to serve breakfast with a view, they choose the basement, where there's zero natural light or even windows.
Parking was safe and directly under the hotel, which made me choose to stay here in the first place. The room we booked had a great and very comfortable bed with views of the whole city. It was spacious, clean and had a big table to work from. The rooftop where the pool is located is amazing and the pool was clean. Breakfast had good options for both meat-eaters and vegetarians. They accept pets.

Location close to a big mall and 30 minutes by car from the city main attractions, good breakfast. I went some time ago to this hotel to wait for a long flight connection. But after Covid, it's worse because not so clean.

PortugalI have nothing to say about the property , but as a solo female traveller staff needs to make sure they don’t say the room number out loud , I had a man who came to reception and acted a bit abrasive while I was being served , he was very attentive of what I was doing , and the receptionist said my room number out loud , when I left reception I could see this man rushing to to be served a ran to get the same elevator as me . I noticed that and immediately I came back to reception and ask for my bedroom to be change , either number a floor .

NetherlandsSTOLEN E READER KINDLE BY PERSONNEL The e reader was there in the morning, and gone the next morning. the theft happened during cleaning: THEFT FROM ROOM BY CLEANERS, because we were in the room the whole period excerpt when cleaning came theft from academy too( an elastic band for Fitness got stolen in 5 minutes when I went to toilet too small bed sheets, old toilets and too small pillows. The hotel ignored our complaints about theft for weeks. Simply replied with offers to book more rooms. No acknowledge of the theft at all i cannot do different now after not being responded for weeks then write this review the smallest gesture into our direction after 2 books was a lame excuse from the management that the night before nobody went to the room. YES because the cleaner stole our kindle. and actuallt went through our backback to search for valuables this is not about the stolen value but about not answering our theft or acknowledge some understanding for weeks and then have a lame excuse. we have not been stolen in our hotel rooms for 30 years and Intercity Savador is the first one . also doesnt do anything to show any understanding to theft from their cleaners. Just denying and putting you down So if you are ready to get valuables stolen from your room this is the hotel to go. If you want some understanding when theft happens better go somewhere else. NEVER AGAIN

Brazilthe bed and pillows were comfortable, but the blanket was of a plush material that is neither comfortable nor hygienic. Its usually expected to have cotton duvets in a 4 start hotel. The bathroom an bedroom were clean but there were stains in the floor that made it look dirty. The breakfast was tasty but the breakfast room was claustrophobic without much natural light. A major downfall for me was that the sauna wasn't working since the pandemics. I booked it there with the sauna in mind, but the information that is was out of service wasn't available anywhere. Overall this seems like the place you would stay if a company is paying for it. It's comfortable but not exciting and there are probably options like pousadas that can offer similar comfort with a better value for money in more open and well lit environments.
the staff was great, everyone was kind, warm and friendly.

AustraliaThe room had a big leak from the window sills causing water to come in and water dripping sound all a very uncomfortable night, when I advised the staff, no apology or anything was given for the inconvenience just an obvious change of the room. The pool area requires a better way to order drinks and food, I had to go down to the room to call and make an order. The gym is small.
Good pool, decent breakfast, close to mall and has barber and laundry in building complex.

BelgiumThe hotel looks nice, but we had a black-out and it seems their generator was not sufficient enough even to make their elevators work. No airco, no light for at least 12 hour. One would expect for such a hotel to give better service in case of emergency
