Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BrazilThe hotel is old, it was claimed that it is after reconstruction yet there were a lot of things to improve. The space to keep your belongings is really small, considering the use of the room for the length of stay.
Good position for out needs, nice and helpful staff.

BrazilMy only complaint would be about the check in. Check in starts at 2pm, we had dropped our bags of earlier as we arrived in Campinas early. When we returned to the hotel at 2.15pm the reception extremely busy and obviously not all the rooms where ready. We had to wait 50 minutes before we got our keys, I would suggest the hotel should think about making its check out time earlier to allow them more time to prepare rooms. This is the only reason I've given the hotel 9 and not 10, other than the check in our stay was excellent and I would certainly use the hotel again.
I thought the hotel was excellent value for money, we booked two rooms and both were clean and well equipped. The hotel is well located for the centre of the city and better located than many of the large chain hotels, it's also within walking distance of Parque Bosque dos Jequitibá, a fact that the hotel surprisingly don't advertise. The hotel is clean and well maintained, the breakfast was good and plentiful, being constantly replenished throughout, the lady in charge of the dinning room was efficient and extremely friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good budget hotel.

BrazilPool closes at 10pm - which would be exactly the time when I'd think of going for it - and I'd really have enjoyed a bath, but I'm also glad I had what to do outside the hotel facilities before that time. So that closing time just doesn't seem reasonable to me. I also found kind of annoying that the beverage dispenser - right in front of the reception desk - was locked up and one had to ask and wait until someone could come and get us something. One more thing: why is this form in English?
The feeling I could count on the staff for orientation in an environment I'm not familiar with and other sorts of support - like cab service, for instance.

BrazilOld everything, decoration, furniture, needs renovation. But nothing that will ruin your stay speacially if you need a low cost solution.
Good value, low cost with wonderful shower, wonderful mattress, silent, good air conditioning, good light block from the courtains. Old furnititure, stains in the painting, very slippery shower floor that retains water. But again, for the price it's a hotel that garantees a very comfortable night of sleep!

GermanyThe mattress was extremely uncomfortable, not even many pillows solved the problem. You have to pay to have any visitors come up to your room, such as pizza delivery person or friends helping bring your luggage up to your room. They also do not offer Bell or baggage services just a few feet outside the hotel door. There was a male front desk attendant that was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. I will never stay in this place again! For those of you looking for a hotel in Campinas downtown, shop further as there are plenty of other hotels around. Stay Away from this place!

United KingdomPity no one at front desk could speak English, also didn’t get the room I paid for. Should have been a double deluxe as I upgraded from your site.(and paid more) They seemed to say I got a bigger triple, I stayed in that room and the guy said we will do something for you once I have spoken to the manager, never heard from the guy again, So overall disappointed with the front desk.
The breakfast was good value the waiting staff were lovey, smiling .

United KingdomThe place wasn't what they show in the pictures. It's run down and badly looked after. I had to change rooms first because of a really loud noise coming from the shower room at night out of nowhere, and then again because there was no WiFi and the air con was broken. An acrilic panel from the lift ceiling fell off and hit me on the head as I was coming down to check out! That's how poorly maintained the place is. They won't see me back again.
The staff in the kitchen and serving breakfast were great. The receptionist did her best too to handle the numerous complaints in a professional way. They did all they could to accommodate me in (three!) different rooms in two days due to several issues.

BrazilBreakfast is really poor, fruits are old and juice is the boxed variety, where 90% is sugar and 10% juice. Rooms are really noisy due to closeness to street (even during the night), making it hard to sleep if you aren't used to it. Wifi is also shared between all guests, making it very slow.
At the center, it is close to everything. The maids are very nice people, rooms are clean, have air conditioner and the price is cheap.

FranceThe reception lady with personal question after listening to a private conversation. The room smelling moisture, we did tried 3 others and were all bad, even the security guy was disgusted. The AC is inside the room and we cannot sleep with the noise. The shower was dirty and there was no water. The toilets had a vent to another room and we hear everything. We could not stay inside the toilet because the smelling is horrible and humid. There is no locker. The bed is old and they do not change the bed sheets. The towels were smelling and disgusting. The breakfast had some old things. I stayed 3 days and eat once. The sink was blocked for 2 days and nobody come to fix after complaining on the reception. The cards got blocked and we cannot get to the room and we need to go to the reception to unlock. The wifi doesn’t work on the room.
Nothing, very bad, old and dirty place! Most of the staff was kind and polite
