You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The property is beautiful, welll maintained. The staff was incredable - very helpful and attentive, nice and welcomning. Room is very clean, wide - alot of space and luxurious. Located in the best area in Zurich in the middle of shops walking street between the Bhanofstrasse and the old city. Hotel has beautiful, small but really nice fitness room. Food at hotel - both in breakfast and in the yaed restaurant is excellent.

United States of AmericaThe only minor issue that arose didn't directly involve the hotel or its' staff. We asked the concierge to arrange for a taxi to the airport for us, and i was disappointed to discover our driver took the long way around (I'm familiar with Zurich after many business and holiday visits), for what I could only interpret as an effort to increase the fare. It's minor in the scheme of things, but I resent being taken advantage of for any reason. That said, everything I said in my previous comments still fully apply, and we will make it a point to return to the Widder on future visits to Zurich.
This was simply a top-notch experience from start to finish. From our arrival to our departure, nothing was lacking in making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

IsraelThe room itself couldn't be cooled down properly, and we had this absurd situation in which the nights outside were pretty cold (around 10 degrees celsius), but it was too hot for us to sleep properly. We couldn't open the windows because the church bells sounds are pretty close, loud, and persistent :). We notified the staff about this but apparently there's nothing that can be done - it's something that has to do with a/c restrictions in the city. It might have even been exacerbated by the fact the room was so large. Anyway, bottom line is we didn't sleep that well because it was too hot in the room. Even so, it was a really small dent in what was a great weekend vacation.
The staff were incredible - attentive to our every need, courteous and proactive - even providing us with an amazing room upgrade and decorating the room for our wedding anniversary - we didn't even have to ask! Amazing. Also, the hotel is spot on in the center of the old city, easy walking to mostly everywhere, and an overall lovely neighborhood. The breakfast is awesome, with a great buffet and great choices overall. The bar is also very nice, with a great ambience, great selection and attentive service.

The room was beautiful and had tasty chocolates. There are lots of spaces to sit in and entertain. The breakfast was very tasty.
