The hotel is neat and quiet, located a short walk from the centre. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast included fruit and pie in addition to bread and eggs.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, for example looking after our bags until 21:00 the day we checked out. The location is a pleasant residential street but easy walk to the town centre. Proper Chilian breakfast with scrambled eggs!

The welcome at the hotel was extremely friendly. The ladies at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in a quiet area and within walking distance to the city centre. It`s also close to a bus stop for the collectivo buses to the airport of Puertto Mont. I especially liked the breakfast offered in a stylish way with an abundance of delicious food. Very close to the hotel are travel agencies where you can book tours.

The breakfast was, to our opinion, a bit basic. As a minor point, we didn't like that the yoghurt was put on the tables the night before. Yoghurt and orange juice should be cold when served.

We stayed two nights in the hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much. The staff is very friendly and the hotel has a nice atmosphere.

- Wifi signal was at times weak in my room - They turn off the lobby fridge at night; my items were no longer cold by the morning :( (this would be my only true complaint)

The lack of proper ventilation or AC. If you get the upper rooms in a hot summer day, the room will be extremely hot! There was a fan in one of the rooms we booked but not the other, and despite that a single fan wasn't enough to cool us.

Puerta del lago was a very comfortable stay. The hotel is located 10 minutes away from downtown (if walking you'll go up a slope, nothing terrible but might be a problem for elderly) and located in a very quiet area, despite being super close to everything. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was complete, with service to the table in a very efficient fashion. The rooms and bed were comfy.

Having ongoing difficulty with resolving a significant price disagreement. We were charged way more than booking.com stated, even including additional Chile 19% taxes (which we shouldn't get charged as foreign tourist paying with foreign credit card).

Great location. Easy walk to centre plaza and waterfront esplanade. Close to bus station also. Very comfortable bed, great hot shower. Very clean. Good breakfast.

Great hotel, comfy and calm with a good location as it is only 7min walking distance from the city center with an amazing view on the Osorno Volcano on the way down the hill. The room was big enough with a closet and a huge bed, very confy. And enough blankets for the colds nights. Good bathroom. The breakfast was amazing, more than enough food, fresh fruits, kuchen, eggs and ham every day! And the staff is super friendly and helpful! They were very patient with my broken Spanish and I felt at home for my long stay there.
