Bed needs improvement as it slumps/sinks down. Smell in bathroom plumbing issue but it’s an island so it’s expected. Could use more trash clean up to make it a 5 star but really a great value.

Friendly staff. Great location. Just a note-I somehow left my cell phone at the view point and it was kindly returned. Can’t believe the nice guy found and searched for us but I forgot his name to give him recognition.

Some maintenance was being done on the beach, and was very annoying due to the exhaust smoke produced from a generator.

Secluded beach for residents only and food was tasty. Beach drink service was good and promptly.

Bed sheets weren't spotless. Uncomforable blankets to sleep under. And unromantic bright lighting in room. Also wifi didn't work in the room.

One of the better places to stay in Tierra Bomba. Nice pool, friendly people and a restaurant. Pool is excluded from really loud music (which is common for all places in Tierra Bomba as it is a party Island during the day for local people)

This is basically a beach club where most folk come for the day from 09.00 - 3PM think great tunes, lots of people, flowing bar, busy beach. super nice staff. super cool beach sellers - remember they have to make a living - as a solo traveller they were all really cool to me - my first stop in Columbia - frankly couldn’t have been better. I stayed for 3 nights. super quiet at night unless a big tour of people staying over and even then it all finished by 9. Great food. A spa. ideal lagoon for swimming, lush grounds with pool and shaded areas for relaxing. friendly group of dogs and 2 donkeys that magically appear at sunset. if you stay for a few days and want more chilled daytime beach action turn right out of entrance - walk for 10 mins and you’re on Punta Arena beach - maxo chilled out. Grabbed a tour round the island on the back of a motorbike - well worth it. visited the Fort. Bike owners friend showed me around. v v good. An eye opener to see how locals go about business. in brief great location, superb food, lovely smiley friendly folk either running the place or hanging about doing their business. Ace.

There were a lot of flies all over the shared dinning room. They definitely have to do something about it, it was just so annoying and you can enjoy your meal with all this flies around.

the only issue was a low speed internet, but with a lot of fun in the resort there is not to much need of the wi-fi.

The service and the attentions of the staff were very admirable, they treat you very well and are always ready for your needs. The water on the beach was clean, the accommodations were very adequate, the tents and furniture on the beach were very close to the water and you could rest your feet in the sea water. The bar was available from very early and with very exquisite drinks. The entertainment from the staff was fabulous and water games at very low prices. this is a great place to enjoy.

These guys have to learn about hospitality, we contacted the hotel month before our arrival to arrange a "shuttle service at extra charge" which was advertised on their services list at the moment of booking the room, the host was not responding until we get the help of the customer service and however they have denied any help in providing the shuttle service as well as amend the reservation in light of their misleading information. However the reservation was non-refundable so we had to honour the reservation but clearly the hotel don't have to honour their description and the Booking.com contract is protecting more the host than the guests. When arrived the hotel make you sign a disclaimer which includes the rules to do not bring any food or drinks from the land, which is not advertised or mentioned anywhere in their description and the prices of food/drink are highly overpriced compared to land. They do not have any tour or able to assist in booking excursions or similar, you had to go to Cartagena and arrange these by yourself with private agency, however you'll find hard to do so as only few agency in the city will be able to arrange a pick-up in Tierra Bomba at early morning with a private boat that will come to pick you up. The hotel starting from 8am is start to get visitors who has paid a daily pass to spend the day and use the pool and beach facilities... These people will be in the hotel's premises from roughly 8am up to 4/5pm and the piece and tranquility of the hotel will be neutralised from extra dozen of families and guests. The menu of the restaurant is purely overpriced compared to Colombian prices. A jar of sangria is 150000!

If I could give a zero star rating I would. it has been the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel. do not book this. I booked for a few nights and when I arrived there was club music outside my room until 4am. The hotel then mentioned that they are a club. I also got food poisoning from their ceviche and I had to go to hospital. They refused to give me any sort of compensation or a refund for the nights I did not stay. after this I checked their reviews on google and there were a number of similar experiences. I do not recommend this hotel at all. it was awful
