We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

GermanyThe room was good and the beds comfortable. The pool on the roof top was great for the kids and allowed us to enjoy the sun and a nice view over the city up to the Sierra Nevada. Staff was super friendly and very helping. We could leave one of our baggage pieces in the hotel for three weeks for free, which was a huge help.

Had to change dates from Monday and Thursday, to Monday and Tuesday. Was able to do that and hold baggage from Tuesday to Friday

DenmarkThe pool is very small, not really usable if there are already other people in it. Quite a disappointment. Hotel room we had was very quiet - but if you come in the times of "brisa loca" (strong winds) you will hear A LOT of wind. In our case strong wind was just during one night - so no issues in the longer run. Breakfast looks like buffet BUT you are not allowed to take things yourself! - you need to ask staff to put things on the plate for you - super strange solution I have never seen before. Hotel is a bit further out from the center - if you like the nightlife of Santa Marta you will need to take taxi back home, as it is quite an abandoned area in the night, and it is risky to walk back from the old center to the hotel.

Australia5 to 10 minute walk to the Centro Histórico and the beach, which is not far at all but I don’t like walking at night. The area felt quite safe though.
Friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcomed. Clean and comfortable room. The rooftop terrace is really nice and has a great pool. Good breakfast buffet served on the rooftop terrace. The check out time - 1pm.

One of our favourite places that we have stayed in Colombia. The best was sooo comfy, A/C, a great sized room and a lamp provided in the room too. The staff were friendly too. The rooftop is a nice area to relax with a small pool and sunbeds. Walking distance to the bus for Minca and Palomino too.

CanadaOur friends didn't have an upgraded room, and that one was quite stuffy. The hotel can be quite loud at night (due to street activity and wind of weakened windows), though that is to be expected in most central locations.
The Rooftop arrangement, the staff, the king size bed, the ac were all really convenient and noteworthy. Location of this hotel is also quite central! And close to a tienda, an éxito and walking distance from the terminal (10min)

Czech RepublicStaff didn’t speak English. The breakfast was not good. Strange variety of food, usually majority of it was gone and they didn’t bring more portions. Thumbs down.
The location is good, it is near the centre and near to several restaurants (600m? Try Ouzo! Geeat pizza). The pool on the roof is perfect, we loved it. In the begining we were given wrong room, probably they just "tried it", but when I complained, I was immediately given the room I booked.

FinlandThe wi-fi was unfortunately very unreliable, so I had to find a coffee place with a wi-fi somewhere else to finish my work. Shower did not have hot water, but that is not a problem for me.
Very quiet, nice, basic hotel near the center of Santa Marta. The room was big enough for me and the bed was comfortable. A/C worked like a charm, the breakfast was big and varied, and the rooftop in general was a nice place to sit. Bonus points for the very friendly staff.
