I like the view, the ease of check in, and the location. It is very strategic and it connects to the Dubai Mall using an airconditioned walkway. The unit is very clean and it has everything I need (washer dryer, kitchen). The best is the balcony.

Kids club area supervisor, Emon was outstanding. Moreover, the hotel boasts a fantastic jacuzzi and sauna, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It provided a perfect way to unwind after a long day of activities.

I strongly caution against staying at The Villa Hostel Abu Dhabi due to numerous unacceptable issues and even serious health hazards I experienced during an extremely unpleasant 1-night stay. The metal bed frames made loud noises with any slight movement, severely disturbing sleep. Even worse, staff deliberately sprayed strong mosquito repellent chemicals in the poorly ventilated bathroom just before I used it, creating a serious health risk. I found the staff rude and unprofessional overall. In one alarming incident, I witnessed 3 staff ganging up on a single guest, nearly shouting. They consistently failed to provide clear information when asked. The hostel was severely overcrowded, with excess people and furniture clogging key areas, making it difficult to move around. This reflected a concerning lack of competent management. I also experienced invasive physical contact from a staff member repeatedly touching me without consent, which felt extremely violating. Disruptive noise from other guests and poor soundproofing further impacted my stay, as did major issues with the air conditioning. AC remotes were often missing, leaving it off in sweltering heat. Irrational guests frequently controlled the AC, leading to widely complained about sleep disturbances. From the health and safety hazards to the unacceptable staff behavior enabling harassment to the unmanaged overcrowding and lack of basic amenities like functional AC, The Villa Hostel failed to provide remotely adequate accommodations. I urge travelers to avoid this hostel until drastic changes are implemented to address the slew of serious issues. The appalling and potentially dangerous conditions I witnessed and personally experienced should not be tolerated whatsoever. Stay elsewhere for your own wellbeing and peace of mind.
