Perfect location in the heart of town. Beautiful view from the balcony/deck of our room. Very kind hotel staff. Everybody that works there was extremely nice to us, and they all work very hard to make sure that the guests are happy.

Something needs to change about the way breakfast is handled at the hotel. It is supposed to begin at 8 am, yet both mornings that we arrived on time for the 8am opening, there was a tour group that had already eaten or was in the process of eating breakfast. We were never informed that this would be happening. This was quite disconcerting, considering that we had prepaid for a very expensive room and breakfast. I understand that the town is overwhelmed by tourists, but it is no excuse for favoring tour groups over other paying guests. The first day, almost every item of food had been literally decimated to the point that it looked like breakfast was over. We were told to still enjoy breakfast as if nothing had happened. At one point, I went to reach for a bowl from the 'clean' pile, and the bowl underneath the top one was used. I got the remnants of their food all over my hand. It was disgusting, to say the least. I do not blame the employees at all. They are doing their best to fulfill the needs of the guests, but obviously, someone is in charge of allowing these tour groups to come in and have breakfast before the official breakfast time and that someone should be aware how infuriating this may seem to people that show up on time expecting things to be all set and fully stocked. If everything had been cleaned and reset before the non-tour group guests had been allowed in, then I would not have written this review. The morning we were checking out, we thought we could eat quickly before catching our ferry boat across the lake but another tour group was in the process of eating before the 8am opening time so every seat was basically taken. Oh well... I hope other people have a better experience with the breakfast. I have never written a bad review about a hotel because I try not to be a negative person, so I hesitated before writing this one.

The room was really big. We felt quite comfortable. The fridge really was working well. The apartment was very close to public transportation and supermarkets.

The room was a bit cool. We could not use the air conditioner:(( The stove was a bit tricky to use. Even the buttons on the stove remained hot after use.

Staffs were warm blooded welcoming people. And the facility was clean for a hostel. You have chance to take a bath without doubt about cleaning.

The location is perfect approx 5mins walking to the Hdf and it is easy to find, the view of room is nice and the facilities are clean!

Actually I must say although everything is good except that the receptionist when we were checking out, she was sooooo rude and no patience!! We just inquired why the city fees were not deducted online with the rent, she didn’t answer A WORD but just turned the screen around and said you had to pay now! We have already paid dozens euros while we were checking in, can’t we ask if the 3 euros were included or not? So funny😅

Fantastic location and very nice facilities (much better than a typical hostel).

It feels more like a very social hotel than a traditional hostel. I wish there were more ways (eg a WhatsApp group) to connect with other guests. The best way I found was the bar, but that’s not for everyone.

As it is an apartment with limited access to reception (it is open during certain hours) we felt a bit isolated. And windows open to a courtyard of a bike stand without much sunlight.
