Very quirky place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the old cottage. It was a bit cold and dark when we arrived but next morning the sun flooded in and it was a whole different place. We had an exceptional meal at the hotel five minutes walk away

Room was modern and very comfortable, quite from street noise, easy to locate and the managers were very friendly. Bathroom was modern and very clean, bed was very comfortable and lighting was great, very usable kitchenette and good size TV.

I really think all properties should just include a linen service. I understood I had to take sheets but it turned out to be a big inconvenience to bring bath towels for everyone. In particular I realised we didn't have a bath mat & since it was an old style shower curtain the floor ended up very wet, making it unpleasant with multiple showers per day. Stepping out of the bath was somewhat dangerous without a slip mat. For the money we pay, surely a few rolls of toilet paper wouldn't be too much to ask for - I had to race to the supermarket on the first day. Also beware anyone booking this apartment that it is at the top of 3 steep flights of stairs.

You need to pay a deposit via their "guest portal" which is in US dollars, I called them to provide credit card details so they could charge in AUD, they used my card details to double charge me for the room, despite that we paid booking.com when we booked the room, a few weeks prior. I feel that the apartment was completely over priced and the location was actually not as suitable as we thought from looking at the map when we booked, Room looks better in the pictures and the hotel put a noisey family with kids next to us and above us which was extremely unpleasant. Getting in was complicated to the building was complicated and the electronic key did not work despite uninstalling and re installing the app, using the TV streaming was complicated. There are hotels with breakfast and better locations for the price.
