the location of this property is fantastic. Within walking distance to Flynns Beach and driving distance to everything in Port Macquarie. It is a good size with a large kitchen, dining room, living room and a very comfortable king bed. The shower is lovely. We have stayed here several times and always request the same room as we love to sit in bed and look out to the creek/forest area out the back. Our request has always been granted.

Apparently Autumn is very wet in Port Macquarie so it rained most the time we were there. Whilst it is nice to see the forest area and listen to the birds in that weather, it is not great for visiting the beach!

Ibis Styles on King Street is very convenient for Southern Cross arrivals. The young staff members made us feel welcome. Our small room contained everything we needed. The building was quiet, the bed comfortable. We will definitely be staying there again and will recommend it to friends.

A traditional Continental breakfast includes cheese, sliced meats, boiled eggs. We would happily have paid more to have some protein included in the breakfast. But it was sufficient for a quick and convenient meal before setting out on our travel day.

It was in a great location. The beach and river were so close. The room was airy. The shared kitchen was big and it was good it had 2 toilets. The staff were quick to respond with any requests and questions.

Only one shower to share with everyone was a bit of a stretch. The floor seemed to be always wet and soggy. There should be designated shelves in the fridge per room.
