Room is quiet. Comfortable bed and pillow, spacious room. Within 5 minutes walk to the metro station. I worried about the wifi after reading some of the reviews, but it actually worked very well during our stay. Breakfast was good.

Only one luggage rack, two would be nice. Too many smokers in the doorway of the hotel, had to walk thru thick smoke cloud in order to get in the hotel. Water in the room is too expensive, there is no drinking water accessible other than breakfast time. My husband and I had very hard time with the shower, it’s almost impossible to finish the shower without making the bathroom floor wet or even flooded.

The location was perfect for exploring Pilsen. A bridge connects the hotel to the start of the Pilsen factory tour and was safe and convenient. There was plenty of parking and the room was fine.

Breakfast was huge, the quality was good. 3 elevators. We were on the 5th floor. Bed was comfortable. Some staff were very kind and helpful. Large bottle of water (free) in the room.

Some staff just had blank stares when we thanked them for clearing the table, for example. One fellow seemed very angry about helping us charge a phone. 120kc for 2 travel toothbrushes. One broke immediately. Shower was broken - the shower head wouldn't stay in raised position. Soap dispenser ran out of soap after one day (we were there for 2) Shower had a large area of dark grey dirty spots on the door. They were easily wiped off with water - but why was it left dirty? It was like that upon our arrival. Sauna use was not included. Despription online says "most rooms include..." but when I looked later, I saw that that's not true. There were many room options listed without sauna use. It's our fault for not scrolling down, but what we needed was the second from the top of the list, and with it being a wellness hotel with 'most rooms including...' we didn't realize we had to choose a different option. Oh well. Lesson learnt. Public transit to the hotel was not great. Especially at night. Plus, LOTS of stairs to climb, so if you have any health issues that make stairs difficult, be aware that taking the tram to Balabenka will mean a 10-minute walk, with a lot of stairs at the end of it. Checking out - Staff ordered a taxi for us, but didn't get one with card payment. We paid 45 Swiss Francs to use a bank machine to get money to pay for the taxi upon arrival in the centre!!!!!! (45 francs = $50USD / $67CAD / 1120Czech crowns) The taxi cost 450kc from the hotel to Wenceslas Square, to give you an idea of how much that mistake cost us. How would we know that in Czech some taxis don't accept card payments? The lovely garden in front with lovely water features is the SMOKING area! Gross! Non-smoking benches are located where you get picked up / dropped off. Not a relaxing garden. Curtains didn't block the light well. Bring an eye-mask.

no air conditioning at least we could open window and there was a fan in the room we set on a chair for circulation. We were fortunate not to have hot temperatures. Could not stay there in the middle of the summer
