More than anything else, I found the hotel staff exceptional. My wallet was stolen in Barcelona while in the plaza in front of the Sagrada Familia Cathedral. Both women (Mel and one other) at the reception were very, very helpful in talking to the Barcelona and Tarragona police, and helping file reports to them. They also gave me tel. nos. for reporting my stolen credit cards. They were also helpful with restaurant recommendations and directions. The location of the hotel was also the best.

The lock to my room did not work and had to be repaired the 2nd day I was there. Again, good service--the gentleman at the reception desk repaired it quickly.

We required help in finding the management to complete our check in procedure. We finally managed with the help of other guests. Once we located Javier, he was professional and courteous.

The actual location was not to our liking...not the fault of the accommodation..just a lack of knowledge of San Sebastian on our part and our lack of knowledge on how to complete on -ine registration.

The hotel was ok, it just was not what we really wanted to enjoy. We are old and cannot climb the many stairs we had to climb several times for loading and unloading and normal activity.

We really liked this hotel, the location was a little hard to find, but very convenient to Las Ramblas area and other sights in Barcelona. The decor is very "60s" and cool.

We really didn't have any issues. If forced into a response, perhaps a newer room entry system that doesn't require a physical key.
