Bed was comfortable and that’s what we needed. Radiators came on at bedtime. The light switches were unique and cute. Great view from our window. Breakfast was a tray of oranges which we could squeeze for juice and brown bread we could toast. Coffee and tea was available to make as needed with milk in the fridge.

Booked a triple room got a double, no third bed as expected. We book triples for the extra space to put things down. We’ve booked all private accommodations on the Camino so we might be spoiled by fabulous places that don’t cost much more. This was just ordinary and minimal. Wi-Fi, when detected in room was less than 1Mbps download spread but was 35Mbps in kitchen where router is located. Bathroom is very basic and mildewed around base of shower. There was a double chair where we could set our backpacks but no table other than a nightstand. Outlets for charging weren’t convenient but they worked. When I sat on the foot of the bed the head rose off the ground. I weigh 135 pounds.

The location is fantastic - just by the train station, minutes away from the city centre by train. A supermarket nearby. Super clean, a super comfortable bed, great shower pressure! A well-equipped kitchen, a first-aid kit in the bathroom (wow!).

The only thing that slightly bothered both me and my hisband was the fact that the apartment is located on the ground floor (planta baja, as they say in Spain). The windows are tanned, so people can't see inside, but the apartment is only accessed directly from the street (it's a bit weird in Spain). There is only one door and one lock separating the guests from the outside. We just felt like we should be on the lookout all the time and were aware of a few noises coming from the outside (although overall it was quiet). PS I also thought from the description that the place had a 24-hour reception, but it didn't really... It's a virtual 24-h reception.

Such a fantastic run property. Very clean, great bar and super delicious communal dinner. One of my favorite places on the Camino de Santiago.

The room had a strong smell of paint because of the wall painting, and it was probably the wall near the bed. The smell was very uncomfortable at night. In addition, there were three strong-smelling fragrances in the house, and there should be drops of aromatherapy essential oils on the artificial flowers. The smell of the fragrance and the paint gave me a headache.

Very noisy all night, but we were so tired and wore earplugs so it didn't bother us much.

The view
Negative section of review
It was such a beautiful view but not a comfy place to sit and look at the view. Very outdated. One of the showers was very clogged and could overfill quickly. Some dull nails sticking out of wood floors and can be problematic with kids.
