I adored my room (#4), sos much so that I stayed another night! This gorgeous posada is right on the Camino and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. They serve a hearty breakfast for an additional 10 euros and the restaurant they recommend for dinner is fabulous! They have an honor bar in the living g room with a wonderful selection. The bathroom is divine with a strong shower head that feels wonderful after a long day of walking with an 18-in backpack!

Although we idolize hotels as the Mecca for comfort, it's not so until we feel just as we do at home. I'm always comfortable at home. La Posada quickly makes one feel at home The staff is most attentive and always a phone call away at any time

We wish the fridge stayed on while you are out if the room to keep food wish there was a place if not in the rooms in the common area to warm food (microwave). Pool was never cleaned.

The booking process was quite cumbersome. After already entering and confirming the payment in Booking.com only a kind of "pre"-reservation is done... The hotel sends another link for the payment to be done via another payment system and so making the reservation definitive. This is unusual and makes the booking process prone to errors.

The 2 neighbor women were talking on their phones late at night. On the final night they let 2 other women in to sleep on the sofa in the dining area.

The hotel is nestled in a great location close to Las Ramblas and transportation. However, the hotel requires significant updates and better upkeep. While service is often praised for being attentive, caring and accommodating particularly at the front desk the resources are lacking. Despite the effort for cleanliness, we experienced inconsistencies with air-conditioning loud noises, uncomfortable beds, especially in outdated bathrooms. I am sure the hotel was a gem when it first opened in 1917.
