The apartment was great, very well equipped and rather spacious for London standards. We really liked the neighborhood, very central, good metro connection, pubs around, Barbican Center next door is definitely worth checking out.

The only thing that wasn't not ideal: we could hear our upstairs neighbors very clearly through the ceiling every time they used facilities in the bathroom - flushing, showering, etc. Also later at night, when we were already in bed.

Our hosts were exceptional and looked out for our needs and interests. We enjoyed getting to know them too, as contact with the local community makes visits more enriching. Plus, staying at a cafe is a bonus.

The location was fantastic, close to all the museums and sights. It is right across the train station so it is easy to get to anywhere in central London.
