Manuh and his wife are such kind souls. They are two of the best hosts I have had during my travels. It is rare to immediately feel so comfortable, at home, and taken care of and they did just that. I only stayed 2 nights but had some lovely conversations with the two of them and would love to stay again someday. The property is nestled away from the chaos in downtown Uluwatu, but Manuh will allow you to rent a motorbike (for a good price) and it’s not far. Cheap local food nearby as well and Green Bowl beach (7 minute drive) is beautiful! They also helped arrange my ride when I was leaving :) 10/10!

Staff is very welcoming, especially Hendra & Mila who were just awesome throughout the whole stay. The pavilions are very private, and the staff is careful about announcing their presence and requesting to enter before coming anywhere near your private spaces (pool/river deck). The breakfast is also super good, and they serve the best avocado smash & pancakes we had in Bali. Lastly, cleanliness is great as the rooms are sprayed twice a day with insect repellent and they do a great job at housekeeping.

The bathroom is outside the room so just keep in mind that you may find an occasional lizard or bugs when you head out to the restroom. What’s good though is that it is covered so if it rains you are not affected.

This place is so detailed and beautiful! The bamboo villa is huge. Food was great and they bring everything into your room for you. The private pool is a nice touch and I liked booking the photographer and tours through them. Very great staff, they are all so friendly. Many entertainment options available too.

WiFi didn’t work sometimes. The bugs and spiders were terrifying considering everything is 100% open air with no enclosed spaces. It was hard to get comfortable at night with how humid and damp things felt.

Very clean and close to the port/beach. The whole property had a nice vacation vibe. Also very close the shops and restaurant but far enough from the crowd. Staff was super friendly especially Marwan.

Breakfast is very disappointing, no selection of vegetables or cheese. Also the monkeys at the resort tried to steal my phone when o was at the pool so I wish there was someone who was guarding them
