The house actually looks better than the pictures. It is clean, smells good, has lot's of light and is very well decorated. You can tell that a lot of effort and love was put into the house. The kitchen is fully functional (with the exception of a microwave). There were ingredients and cookware to make a meal and the breakfast the hosts provided was amazing. The hosts were exceptionally kind and helpful,and quickly responded to messages. If you will get there late at night the metro may not be working due to maintenance works so ask the host for the best options to get there. I would book again and again, our stay was amazing.

We chose Divina House because of the reviews we’d read about the owners’ helpfulness and friendliness and we weren’t disappointed! Cristina and Vittorio are wonderful hosts. Cristina made us a lovely breakfast every day at whatever time we chose and recommended restaurants, made reservations and suggested sights to see. Vittorio also made trip suggestions and took our car and parked it for us gratis whenever we used it. He grew up in Sorrento and knows it inside out. The house is in a wonderful location, just across the street from the pedestrian-only part of the city and across from a pretty park and next door to a lovely Cloister.

The manger, Adele was wonderful with check-in, very helpful with local information and recommendations. She answered all the many questions we had being new to the area! The place and room was extremely clean!

My husband felt the room was a bit small, but then again this is in an older building and I thought they did a great job updating the place, but keeping the the medieval look as well.

The host (son of the owner) was very nice, accommodating of several requests, had great English and was great to talk to. The breakfast was great as well. The place felt a lot like a B&B, in a good way.

The AC did not work, the remote to the TV did not work, which made it so hot and unbearable. Walls were super thin I could hear everything around me and constantly hearing door knobs being opened which made me think someone was trying to come in my room. Lastly it was so hot I had to open the window, though it had a screen door it did not help the fact I woke up the next day with huge red itchy bumps all over my body and face, either from the bugs in bed or outside.
