Excellent location. Amazing views of Chianti wine region. Staff was very helpful in giving us a list of activities and dining options in the nearby town. We did not eat at their Michelin ranked restaurant as the quantity of food portions was much to small for the price. The stayed in one of the apartment guest rooms with its own kitchen. I recommend buying a bottle of wine from the wine bar and going on the full wine tour and tasting. The tour guide was great and their wine excellent. I would recommend visiting the medieval town San Gimignano and hiking around that area.

Stingy with the Nespresso coffee packets. We were told you only get 1 per person per day. We had to buy more at the wine bar for 1 Euro a piece. Give me a break.

Please see below for what was unacceptable about this hotel. Sadly, I cannot say anything positive because we cancelled our overnight stay and requested an immediate refund after seeing the room and facility. If you are a backpacker or routinely stay in youth hostels, this hotel might serve your needs. It did not meet our expectations or needs.

After seeing the location, paying for the room and planning to drop off our luggage, we knew this hotel was not for us. The room was essentially a "dorm room" with dirty pillows and torn curtains. We went back downstairs and requested a refund and found lodging elsewhere. The property was not advertised fairly. It was isolated in an industrial area with nothing else nearby. The parking lot was full of broken glass which indicated that cars were regularly broken into. All of these factors justified our decision to vacate the premises.

Great location very close to the Metro station and very walkable. Staff member is very friendly and communicative.

The room did smell like someone was smoke inside the room had to air it out and turn on the AC to get the smell away. The bathroom was smaller than expected.

It was not easy to pull in and unload as the parking was not next door. I suggest the directions are updated to explain better to where to pull in to as we had to circle around on a very narrow street. Not great for those with limited mobility or elderly. There is a washing machine but no dryer, which would have been god to know.

The room was very tiny. Because of the size of the room, the proximity of the bed to the hallway was very close so you could hear everything going on in the hall. We were woken up constantly during the night by people returning to their rooms and closing their doors. Also, the hotel advertised a rooftop bar on their website as if it was currently open, but when we arrived we were informed by the staff that it is under construction.
