Lovely small hotel in a converted palazzo far enough away from main drag to be tranquil, yet centrally located in the heart of the old city. Entry is into a courtyard through a grand wooden door. Greeted warmly by Fernando, who gave us great tips on sightseeing and eating. Room was spotless, comfortable, had all amenities listed. Gorgeous bathroom. Slept soundly (double-paned windows). Generous breakfast on the lovely terrace. Excellent coffee to start the day.

Please see below for what was unacceptable about this hotel. Sadly, I cannot say anything positive because we cancelled our overnight stay and requested an immediate refund after seeing the room and facility. If you are a backpacker or routinely stay in youth hostels, this hotel might serve your needs. It did not meet our expectations or needs.

After seeing the location, paying for the room and planning to drop off our luggage, we knew this hotel was not for us. The room was essentially a "dorm room" with dirty pillows and torn curtains. We went back downstairs and requested a refund and found lodging elsewhere. The property was not advertised fairly. It was isolated in an industrial area with nothing else nearby. The parking lot was full of broken glass which indicated that cars were regularly broken into. All of these factors justified our decision to vacate the premises.

Close to the airport, a good resting point after a month in Abruzzo before flying out the next day. Very friendly desk clerk, we had a very pleasant discussions. He gave us an excellent idea for dinner at a trattoria 2 blocks away, which I would highly recommend.

The hotel is in a very convenient place near the Valley of Temples. There are Reataurants around and a taxi to the city center is a very good option. The views to the temples from our room was amazing. Very nice staff and breakfast couldn’t be better.

Everything was amazing! The hotel garden is beautiful, with a heated pool and a very nice atmosphere. Rooms are comfortable. Staff was incredibly polite and friendly. Cleaning the room every day (if you want) Good breakfast choices.

The La Foresteria suites was within walking distance of many of Romes beautiful attractions. Our room was clean and comfortable to stay in.

The outdoor space is really a huge bonus. Inside is clean and feels comfortable.

It was not easy to pull in and unload as the parking was not next door. I suggest the directions are updated to explain better to where to pull in to as we had to circle around on a very narrow street. Not great for those with limited mobility or elderly. There is a washing machine but no dryer, which would have been god to know.

Sunflower shower head and handheld shower were in the shower booth, water from the sunflower head first when you turn on the water and handheld later. It would be better If it was the other way round.
