Staff were very accommodating and helpful, the openness of the common areas provided a comfortable space to relax, and the beautiful wooden interior created a cozy ambience. The facilities were modern and clean, and the included breakfast was a great way to start each day. Also very conveniently located - less than a 10 minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto station.

The breakfast buffet was decent: toast, eggs, salad, yoghurt and around 7-8 Japanese dishes. We enjoyed it because there was no convenience store nearby, so being served breakfast at the hotel was very helpful. We stayed in single rooms and the size was bigger than we expected, quite comfortable.

Nothing really. We checked in at midnight and checked out in the morning so there wasn't much time to check other services.

One of the coolest hotel i ever stayed. Exceptional breakfast and dinner, amazing staff, stunning architechture, very good facilities (internet, hotel shuttle to Kyoto train station 2 times per hour, taxi in the front of the hotel, etc). Highly recommend.

-super close to train station (elevator exit.) -good breakfast -nice staff -bed is big enough -provide various kinds of pillows you preferred (first come, first serve) -free cocktails bar in the evening

The room is big enough, clean and new. We love that they allowed us to store one of our luggages when we went to Hokkaido but went back in the hotel when we came back from Tokyo

It had free umekobu-cha powder. Easy access to the Haneda airport, they had free shuttle bus to it. It has seven eleven just across the road.

This hotel was truly a terrible experience!! I would not recommend this to anyone. I moved to another hotel for half the price after this and the room and staff were 100% better. The staff at this APA hotel insisted that I pay an additional 1,000 yen to check in 10 minutes early to the check-in time which was 5pm. They placed me into a room on the third floor in front of the elevators and a loud crowd just outside the thin window. The room windows are as thin as paper. You can hear everything outside. After realizing I could not sleep, I gave them a call at 2am to complain about the amount of noise coming from the hotel elevator just outside my door and the outside noise. The staff insisted she check the noise level in my room at 2am to determine whether it was worth moving me. I asked for a refund for the first night and not only were they rude to handle the situation but they also did not refund me. There are many hotels in this area, and this is one hotel I will not be coming back to.
