The property is just how the pictures show it. The property is below ground level (basement), but the light fixtures do a good job illuminating the space. Check-in is through a lock box, you don’t receive the code until a couple hours before the check in - so be aware of that if you arrive in AMS early. Check in was at 15:00, but I was later told 16:00. What’s provided: - great wifi - coffee machine + capsules - some beverages in the fridge - shampoo and body soap - dental and shower kits - body lotion Overall, it’s perfect for 1-2 people. Great location in De Pijp … close to metro, trams, and a busy street with shops, grocery, and retail.

I was a little disappointed with the value considering the price. I booked this property due to its micro kitchen, but it’s not well equipped in cooking materials. There was one pot, one pan - that’s it. No microwave, no toaster, no equipment to cook, not even sharp knives to peel/cut. That was disappointing for me considering how much I paid for my stay. Check in was definitely wonky. Maybe it’s because I booked in Booking.com vs Airbnb, but very little communication from the host until the day of where I needed to understand check in instructions. Could be because this is 1 of their many properties, so I hope this feedback helps the property managers.

The location is incredibly convenient. Right in the center of town, it offers easy access to numerous stations, allowing you to travel anywhere you desire.

Unfortunately, the woman handling my reservation wasn't very helpful. While checking in, I noticed the staff member assisting another group was very informative, explaining the hotel's offerings and amenities. In contrast, when I provided my name, the woman at the front desk rather rudely requested my passport without giving me a chance to explain, and she offered no information about the hotel. To reach my room, I had to walk through a hallway reeking of sewage. Unfortunately, the already unpleasant experience was compounded by the stained carpets.

I did not show up because I saw on the Internet they have several bed bug issues and complaints about it, I didn’t want my travel to be disrupted because of this or worst, taking a plague with me. The stay was already payed, I fully understand the cancellation policy. However, I asked for a refund because of the hygiene concern, at least they returned €18 (city tax I guess). I had to find a different accommodation that day.
