Fantastic location, walk from train station, in historic part of Leiden. Lovely, well-appointed room, all the conveniences. Enjoyed the breakfast in the pretty breakfast room.

There’s no reception desk or person to greet you and provide advice. Also, anyone with mobility problems would struggle to climb the tiny circular staircase. Street facing room can be noisy (pub on street corner). Garden room was quiet.

Didn't realize there's no elevator and there are 18 narrow, twisting stairs between levels. Our 2nd floor room (they kindly moved us down when they saw us) was on the 2nd floor so 31 steps up and down. Not easy for seniors! Location is a block from the Red Light district so crowded. Not too far from the train station, but a much longer walk to transportation stops for travel around town.

There was no elevator in the building, the food was mediocre & overpriced, I would avoid at all costs. The last night of my trip, unruly guests joined my room and caused damage to my shoes as well as were very noisy. One of the gentleman even had his entire behind out. I checked out early to avoid confrontation and told the staff. They did not seem to care.
