The hosts prepared fresh homemade-style breakfast every morning on the rooftop terrace - absolutely perfect for a morning start in Lima. The home is located centrally in Miraflores within walking distance to many Miraflores attractions and the El Malecon coastal parks. Exceptionally friendly hosts who made us feel so welcomed to Peru!

The view from the breakfast place and terrace was spectacular, overlooking the city and with the mountains on the background. Breakfast was good (eggs, bread, fresh juice, tea). The place was very close to the central square and to San Blas. The staff was helpful and stored our luggage in a locked place (for free up to 5 days).

The shower electric heater was not strong enough and you had to almost shut the faucet to get good temperature. There were two shared bathrooms in our floor, and the problem was especially severe in the bathroom that had a window and was very cold. There is no car access to the place so be ready to climb the staircase on Calle Resbalosa to reach the hostal.

The staff was wonderful. He gave us all kinds of good tips for our visit to Machu Pichu, and stored our backpacks for the day. The place was clean and well-located very close to the Machu Pichu buses.

1. Shower was full of hair of the previous guests 2. The noise level was insane. During the day, the cars passing by were honking. And every night there was extremely loud music from the bar below the property, which made sleeping almost impossible.

The 2nd bedroom wasn’t a real bedroom. It looked like it “built up” from an extra space. Very small bedroom, no bathroom, no closet. The bulb light in the big bedroom needs to be replaced.
