Positive section of review
The building appears to be renovated, so some of the fixtures and other components are new, and the walls are recently painted. The hot water heater worked well. There is a small gym on site with a couple of cardio machines. The staff, especially the guy who appears to be the manager or owner, provide very good service. The hotel provides some supplies in the room like dental kits, drinking water, mosquito repellant, and shower gel.

The bed and pillows were very hard. I understand hard beds are common in SEA, but there has to be some way to accommodate Western guests who are miserable on these types of beds.

Very nice and hotel, certainly family-friendly, good value vor money, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Public transport is close by and there are many restaurants in the area.

It might be nice to be able to open a window. I realize that the building was not designed for that, so the hotel can't do anything about this.

Luxury hotel next to Wong Amat beach; very helpful and friendly staff, very good breakfast, very nice resort area. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and include balconies.

Some of the facilities are a little bit dated. There are only two elevators in the main building, which is not enough for this many guests. You can take the stairs, but the stairway is a bit hard to find and does not look like it's meant to be used by guests except in cases of emergency perhaps.
