The deluxe family suite accommodated all 5 of us very comfortably. I loved having a second floor for the bedrooms and the beds were firm but comfortable. The Japanese style bedroom was a cute touch and we slept 3 with plenty of stretch space. We also had 2 full bathrooms. The decor was beautiful but not overdone. Stairs were not too steep. Was not difficult to get luggage upstairs. Location was close to a very nice night market and plenty of restaurants and a seven eleven just across the street. A nice breakfast spot right on the corner with good scallion pancakes! The housekeeper was so kind. I saw her most every day and she always greeted us! The water filling station on the roof level was a nice touch. We used this frequently to refill our water bottles daily. There is a roof access but I wouldn't say it had any great views. I would definitely recommend this location if traveling with a larger group and need a larger accommodations.

This is not a traditional hotel. It is not staffed with anyone. You enter the building straight to the elevators. No lobby area. The room has a fridge and a hot water kettle and I think a coffee maker (I don't drink coffee so I didn't use it and it wasn't your traditional coffee pot. Similar to a Keurig) but no microwave. I didn't need to ask for any extra items during my stay as they supplied us with plenty of bath towels but I would think it would be difficult to get any service as there is no one there except for the housekeeper. I know if I needed anything such as linens she would probably helped me but most people wouldn't know she was even there or how to access her. Since I went up to the roof level frequently that's why I knew she was there. But I also don't assume she is there all day. The air conditioning in the Japanese style bedroom had some issues with staying cold but I was able to figure it out on my own and got it working properly again. When my trash got full I took it upstairs to the roof level where there is another trash receptacle to keep the trash from piling up in our room. The pillows were a bit stiff but I've found during my 14 day stay here in Taiwan that firm beds and pillows are a norm.

Beds are very comfortable and staffs are friendly. They have sunrise, sunset and stargazing trips for a fee. Will get refunded if weather doesn't permit for those activities. Would recommend staying here.

Great location for us, but it can be too remote for some people! We personally loved it! Site has everything you need even seven and cooking equipment if needed. Great host and also provide breakfast.

Large rooms and comfy beds, enjoyed the theme rooms, especially the large monopoly floor.

The faucet and sink were weirdly placed so water inevitably got everywhere. Breakfast could use some more variety. Really disliked the sand playroom for the kids (extremely dusty and not great for children to breathe in)- suggest replacing the sand with 決明子。 Also ran into some issues with getting a refund. We had to check out sooner than expected and hotel would not allow refund until I contacted booking.com customer service.

ALL! The worst hotel ever. We booked thru booking for 810NTD then the staff told us to check in by 5pm. We agreed and pay 1010 so the receptionist take it and we waited her to give our 200 change but she didn't. Instead she told us to check in early. We didn't agree and yet she charge us already. Scam! Also the hotel is really creepy the moment we step out of the elevator. Our room was located on the 3rd floor. 305 to be exact. The room is so old. The CR is dirty. The woods are broken, inside the room was all wrong! We also had a nightmare there. I have a doppelganger in bed lying beside us!!!
