Make sure you dont forget that you have to pay the whole stay in cash. We understand that completely and will not complain - but we dont like to take big sums of cash with us. Next time we would offer to pay in advance instead

The owners are very nice & welcoming. Amazing Breakfast. Absolutely breathtaking view from the new rooms, the pool & the breakfast area. Untouched region with lovely beaches & people, we loved it.

Words fall short of describing this place, it is completely wonderful, located at the top of a hill to appreciate the magnificent view of Playa San Miguel, the facilities are beautiful and very cozy with lovely details and the room had everything we occupied, Corinne and Laurent are great hosts, their attention, kindness, and care with the guests is gratifying, the breakfast is delicious and very complete, the beach is close, this beach is very beautiful and there are not so many people which we loved that peaceful and relaxing air. I can't wait to go back soon.

The place is amazing. The view is just spectacular and Corinne & Laurent are very nice hosts. We stayed only one night but should have stayed more because la Colina Pura Vista is really recharging

Corinne and Laurent have created a truly unique place. While the pictures show the amazing view there are so many little details in the entire property that we fell in love with this fantastic place right away. The wonderful breakfast was perfect start in the day. We also loved cooking early dinner in the kitchen outside with ocean view and the amazing sunset…

The only negative for us really was the remote location (although it was well described that way in their website). It just surprised us, and we were not fully aware beforehand of how bad the road conditions in Costa Rica can be.

Beautiful property on the hill with amazing views. Very clean and comfortable with modern aesthetics. Amazing home cooked breakfasts. Nice and helpful hosts.

This place is like heaven, perched on top of a hill, with a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean. The surrounding countryside is sublime, populated by howler monkeys, and crossed by rare tracks, which gives the impression of being lost at the edge of the world. The beach of San Miguel, 5 minutes away by car, is stunning and very clean, and we hardly see anyone. There are some very good places to dine in the area. And finally, Corinne and Laurent's friendly welcome is irreproachable: two adorable people who take care of their guests, very communicative and warm, while knowing how to remain discreet. We spent 3 wonderful days there, surely the best of our trip to Costa Rica.

we loved the breathtaking views from our room, common areas, and the pool! The owners are also pretty great and made a delicious, giant feast of a breakfast (for a few) each morning!

To access the hotel, you need a 4x4. If you do not have a 4x4 (like us), you need to walk up and down the hill to go to the restaurant or to the beach.

Very friendly owners who made us feel at home. The breakfast was extraordinary and by far the best breakfast we had in Costa Rica. The view is amazing. The room gives you a lot of privacy.

Utterly magical- Hosts and their pets were kind and welcoming. the ‘off the beaten path’ location is breathtaking- with a wonderful pool overlooking the ocean. Cabin was very comfortable and homely. Highly recommended- a real highlight on our Costa Rican adventure.

Needed a 4x4 to reach the location as the driveway is quite steep.

The view was breathtaking and the cabins perfect. Especially loved the privacy. The hosts were so kind. The breakfast was like a four course meal and it was phenomenal! My stay was peaceful and serene.

Everything about La Colina Pura Vista was exceptional. Comfort, cleanliness, welcoming hosts, incredible view, lovely breakfasts, wildlife viewing, tranquility. We spent a wonderful 5 days exploring the surrounding area and will definitely return.

The access road is very steep, this is the price for such great views I guess. The road to San Miguel in general is better with an equiped vehicle. We had a SUV without 4x4 and it went fine (dry road). I suppose this complicated access is what makes the region remaining virgin. In my opinion totally worth it, the road trip is beautiful, a nice adventure

The Cabin has plenty of windows with fantastic views, perfect for sunset but also great at sunrise. There were plenty of hummingbirds just below our balcony and some mapaches too. The surroundings are quite virgin compared to other Costa Rica locations. There are waves and a fabulous restaurant nearby. Breakfast was fantastic too including homemade bread and the owners are very helpful. It's a perfect spot!
