Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

EstoniaOur room was extremly small, it lacks air. Our balcony was on the street and this is very noisy because of the bar in next building. 2-level floor, keep your toes! Bathroom very low ceiling, very tiny. Our double-bed was also very small. Should be some warning. For one night it was OK.
Location is good, 300-400m from beach promenade. Everything is there. Small streets around are also nice. Parking was easy. Breakfast simple, olives, tomatos, joghurt, coffee :) AC worked, but pretty loud :)

RomaniaThe breakfast is very poor - you only have selections for a ham and cheese sandwich, musli with milk or yougurt, some jam and coffee. For me, it was enough, but if you stay more than 1-2 days or if you usually have a big breakfast, I won't recommend :(
The place is very central located, close to most of the attractions. Also very friendly stuff, we found lots of romanians and helped us with directions and places to go eat. I would recomand Sparta, it's 3-5 minutes walk. Very good!!

United KingdomOur only slight grumble would be the size/layout of the ensuite bathroom, as the toilet was somewhat 'squeezed' into the corner of the room and therefore making it slightly awkward to use comfortably.
Friendly & helpful staff helped us settle in nicely after we arrived. The room was large, spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning in the room was very useful, particularly in the quiet mode during the warmer nights. Our room was made up nicely each day. The continental breakfast was a little on the modest side, but tasty and well replenished by the lady looking after it. Fantastic location just a short walk from the seafront, with ample selection of restaurants, shops and even a supermarket.

HungaryThere were no water glasses or kettle in the room. Those would have been nice. The breakfast was not the best, there was a little selection and the same every day.

SlovakiaThe room and especially the bathroom is really small. If you want to stay for more nights you might book a bigger one. Workers on nearby construction started very noisy work at 7 am.
We only needed the room for one night, it was great for that purpose. The reception staff is very friendly.

PolandRoad Construction Work in front of the hotel, and one morning my daughter tripped on the pavement just as we were going out of the front door of the hotel because of construction hose pipes scattered on the ground loosely right outside the doorway of the hotel. But of course this is not the hotel's fault but should be made sure the entrance is clear of any obstacles.
Kind staff from front desk to kitchen. :) I borrowed an Electric kettle in my room for my kid's milk At breakfast, I was allowed to take my kid's food in our room, instead of staying in the dining area. Safe neighbourhood. Near the promenade.
