Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Our AC unit was leaking during the night . The staff kindly fixed it during the day whilst we’re out. The hotel booked us 2 taxi’s to take 12 people. The taxi drivers charged us 42 euros each and told us that it was the hotel’s rate, which we were not made aware. The next few days we ordered our own taxi and it only came to 355 kc a van.
The staff were really helpful and also allowed us to us the conference room when we needed.

The 3 single bed room was actually an added bed of a double room, which makes the room too small for living 3 adults. The added bed was too soft and very uncomfortable and it moved. Can't sleep well on that bed and we finally have to pay for an extra room to ensure everyone can have a good sleep. Only bathtub in the bathroom, not user friendly to take shower.
Free parking, location is good, close to public transport, with shopping mall and supermarket nearby

WiFi was not good in our room. The extra bed was not very comfortable.
Clean facilities. Good quality of towels. All the staff are very nice and polite. Breakfast with many varieties of fresh food. Free parking, the tram stop is right across the road direct 20 min ride to the city center. A big shopping center is in front of the hotel.

There was no soap in the room. Breakfast was definitely not for 4* - a little choice and average food quality.
Coffee machine in the room. Hotel staff at the reception always kind and very competent. Although the hotel is located around 25 minutes away from the centre by public transport, connections are very good - it's possible to take a bus / tram every 5 minutes.

The hotel is nice but I feel the it needs refreshing. It is located about 30 minutes by tram (number 22) from Old Town.
The hotel has a very big parking (free of charge). We did not have any problems to park there. The room was clean and nice. The wifi worked well. The breakfasts were very good. The staff was nice and helpful.

The breakfast was good but almost the same everyday. Room service was a little slow.
The hotel was nicely located and quite accessible to the public transport as well. The staff was really helpful too.

The only thing we did not like was the elevator. It is slow, you have to wait very long that it comes down. We often used the stairs because we did not want to wait that long.
Rooms were ver clean and nicely prepared. Breakfast was delicious and the staff at the reception desk was very friendly and polite.

It was a totally nice stay! Starting from extra fast answers from the reception team by booking portal, through taking care of us on site - I am impressed. Special thanks to Yurii - it was a nice suprise to a little chit chat in polish. We recieved every needed informations and our questions were not left unanswered. The room was really nice and comfortable, clean and equipped to nessesery things. Breakfast was great as well - tasty and varied options (also with things lactose-free). I woudl like to recommend this place for other future guests!
