Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaWhat was not so great - the breakfast selection (pretty small especially in sweets area) The breakfast personell should be advised to be a bit more loose, I have noticed that most of them were trainees - they need to be inspired to overcome their shyness.
What was great - staff, decorations, cleaningness, all complementary items in the room, the view from the breakfast terrace, the smoked salmon and the egg salad from the breakfast menu, the massage from the Pure Spa (extra cost) There is a really nice vintage tram 15 meters from the hotel that takes you up to the castle on the other side of town during weekend days

GermanyMinor downsides (that didn't matter much to us): - Breakfast buffet incomplete ca. 1 hour before closing (I respect that this probably reduces food waste) - Depending on your room, with open window you'll hear the main train line, with a surprisingly loud train every few minutes (they like to honk there); but if you close the well isolated windows, you'll hear nothing - Our room had some unrepaired cracks in the wall (old building charme) and tapestry starting to loosen (less charming) - Spa exists, but most things cost extra - Parking is relatively pricey with 25€ / night, no matter if on the street or in the garage.
Wonderful historical building with beautiful rooms, great view, great location in the city center, fitness center and nice breakfast - optional on a terrace that overviews Prague. Very generous rooms and beds, and ours got heated bathroom floor - great for the winter. We will definitely come again!

United KingdomThe restaurant was not open in the evening The location - it is quite a long way out of the centre of Prague - at least 30 minutes walk.
The breakfast was lovely , particularly being able to sit outside overlooking the town. Sasha, on reception was outstanding - very helpful and knowledgeable with a great command of English.

GermanyIf I had to complaint about something, it could only be the spacing between the breakfast tables, which was really tiny. It gave you the feeling you were eavesdropping on the neighbors table.
Hotel is really fancy and nice. The staff was really nice at all times. Breakfast exceeded expectations with good quality products. Front desk clerk was really accommodating with the parking. The hotel has a terrace with excellent views. Value for the money is off the charts.

The location was fantastic, providing breathtaking views of Prague from our room. The overall experience was memorable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Prague seeking comfort, convenience, and stunning vistas.

IsraelShower could have had a nicer shower head, also getting out was scary for us (we're short), because the bathtub is so high lol. Also flooded a bit. No biggie bit it's something to improve
Staff was very helpful and approachable. Room was comfortable, pretty good size. Unlike most hotels they had a screen that effectively blocked out light which was great. Everything worked well. Good value for money and as advertised

BulgariaIt would be great if the restaurant works nights too, not only for breakfast. It has a lovely garden, so probably it works in spring and summer, but we were just before Christmas and it opened for breakfast only.
Everything was perfect, with attention to detail, really lovely - both comfortable and exquisite at the same time. The breakfast was great, tasted like home made. Also close to central touristic sights.

SwitzerlandThe only disadvantage was that the bedroom didn't have a door to the rest of the suite, so it was a bit complicated to block the light at night.
The hotel is situated in a quiet location with an easy access to a tram stop. It's not too far from the Wenceslaw square, so you can even walk to the old town. Our room was amazing. And the bed was so comfy. The staff at the reception was nice too.

United States of AmericaEvery member of the staff was professional, courteous and friendly. Our three-night stay was a lovely interlude. Our room was larger than expected, with great views. Breakfast included everything one might want, including hot dishes, cold cuts, cheeses, cereals, fruits, preserves, bread, yogurt and more. Staffed by kind people who met every need, the breakfast room overlooked the beautiful city. Great value, and we appreciated the desk reception staff whom always greeted us, provided directions, maps, restaurant recommendations, etc. Thank you. My mother passed away our first night there, we didn’t tell you, but you all made us feel special.

NetherlandsParking too expensive, like many hotels in Prague.
The hotel can be reached easily by car. Breakfast was very good; plenty of choice and good quality; coffee is served at your table; i enjoyed the latte macchiato. Personell in breakfast room is very friendly. Beds were good, room was nice. They sprayed a special smell all around in the hotel; not everyone may like it; we loved it. For sightseeing you can take a tram-line that stops practically in front of the hotel. For better connections there is another line that goes directly into the center (go out, turn left, first street left, continue till you see the tram line, walk left to the station; its 5 minutes from the hotel. You can buy a 24 hour ticket in the metro with your credit card at a machine; all easy and cheap; its like 6 euro or so (60+ only half of that) for unlimited use of tram, metro and bus. The hotel has a parking, but I find 20 euro's per day in Prague too expensive; for 3 days its 60 euro. A good alternative is to park at the end of each metro line at the P+R; I parked at Chodov; costed something like 5 euro's or so for the 3 days; from there take an Uber and back in hotel in 10 minutes.

SpainNo such a thing - everything was top-notch.
Absolutely gorgeous hotel with all the necessary facilities. Wonderful breakfast with plenty of choices, loved the selection of vegetables, seeds, fruit, nuts, and all the other breakfast choices. The hotel had also a restaurant and chef-cooked meals were delicious. Thank you. The staff was attentive and always made me feel welcome. Thank you. Love the fact that the hotel also has a library where you can have a peaceful time. The hotel is at a reasonable distance from the center and all tourist destinations. It was good for a stroll, however, it is possible to take a taxi or public transport. Gratitude to the room cleaning staff, the room was always tidied to perfection. I truly enjoyed my stay, combining the conference and some free time in Prague. Looking forward to coming back with my family. I am sincerely grateful to everyone who made my stay so pleasant and relaxing.
