Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There are stairs which cannot be avoided despite a lift.
Located very close to many eateries and sights. Easy walk from the bus station. The reception staff are very helpful and polite. Breakfast in your room is very generous. The single room was large and very comfortable and quiet when windows shut. It would be a hot room in summer as only a fan.

The room was a bit run down. Everything in working order, but had little bit of worn out feeling.
The location of the accommodation was good. The breakfast adequate it was a nice touch that in the morning you have received fresh rolls.

A bit old, but well-kept.
Very central small apartment in a large apartment building, with a reception during the day. The delux room has a well-equipped kitchenette. Breakfast is provided in the room. Special requests were met.

One tiny issue was that the holder for the shower head was missing a grip on one side but not major just had to hold the shower head, also the noise from the bar was very loud until gone 4am but that’s not the hotels fault just something to be mindful of if not going for late night drinks!
Great location! Very nice staff, breakfast in room was just a lovely start to the day! Amazing value for money! And a balcony! What more could you ask for??

- apartment could be more cleaner, f.e. dishes were not clean - basic ingredients for preparing breakfast that would be useful were missing (salt, pepper, oil)
- location in the city center, it was very comfortable for us because the place was amazing, we were right in the middle of the Brno, apartment was big, with two rooms and dinner room / kitchen - breakfast was in the fridge and we were able to prepare tasty breakfast (sweet, salty) by themself

Minor, but you have to be aware that you are in a popular part of Brno. I was there in the weekend and though the room is well insulated you will hear some noise.
Good value for money in the middle of Brno. Very friendly staff. Rooms are sober but well equiped.

a bit noisy during the night due to bars on the street, didn't disturb me so much, but might get problematic during summer if someone wants to sleep with the window open.
nice room for a short stay for one person, great location at the heart of the Oldtown. Really liked solution for breakfast - having it at your room, meaning you can eat it whenever you like or even outside the hotel.

An aggressive cleaner threatened to call the police because of 10 minutes over-stay of check-out time. Ridiculous. She should not be working there if they want repeat customers.

I would have expected a little more care regarding the breakfast, although the pastries were fresh.

Nothing at all
Hotel was in the city centre in a quiet location (no traffic). Easy to reach from the main railway station. Breakfast (in the room) was rather basic, but ok. Here I recommend one of the nearby cafes (e.g. Cafe Placzek) The room was large, more like a small flat with kitchen and bathroom

Locating adjacent with the pub, at the night time will be a little noisy. Overall the environment and the atmosphere is still fine.

Every aspect was good, we could not find any faults.
The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city. The room was large and clean. The breakfast provided to our room was excellent. More than enough for breakfast as well as enough to make a great sandwich for lunch.

The mattress was a little bit uncomfortable but I did not really expect much for a pension
