Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Staff was amazing and very kind. Plus, the breakfast was really good with a lot of variety. Lastly, the chauffeur for the shuttle was tremendously nice

I liked the hotel very much. The breakfast was excellent. The location of the hotel, is very good. You can easily walk to the City center. If you want to use tram or tube, I.P.Pavlova st. is just a short walk from the hotel.

The cleaning schedule didn't work well for us as we were traveling with a toddler. Our room was cleaned only once during our stay. We didn't raise the issue with the reception, though I'm confident they would have found a solution. We had a busy itinerary and spent a lot of time exploring the city.
The hotel has a classic style and is very clean and well-kept. Our room was spacious and also very clean. We enjoyed a good buffet breakfast and could change the day it was served. We started our stay with breakfast on our arrival day since we arrived early in the morning, and we didn't had breakfast on the day we checked out because we had an early flight. The staff is nice and helpful. The food at the hotel restaurant is very tasty as well.

Could not open the windows and it was a little difficult to regulate the temperature in the room.
We had a shared room with 3 beds. There was ample space. The room and ensuite was very clean. Breakfast was lovely - lots of choice. The location was superb - right close to the centre and 10 mins walking distance to the train station.

Not a deal breaker at all, just a tip for the property. The hotel itself has a bit of an outdated type of decoration and I believe it could be improved with small changes while still maintaning the classic charm of the place.
The room had a good size and was very clean. Also the hotel is quite well located, not in the frenzy of the old town and close to very goid restaurants and public transport. The highlight of the stay was definitely the breakfast, super diverse with many choices of pastries, fruits and warm food. Staff was very nice and also helped us out with a parking issue.

There was construction work being done which was very loud during the day which made relaxing in the room impossible. Not a major problem but it would have been nice to have been warned about this at Check in.
Excellent breakfast, great staff and nice clean rooms. Good location near to transport links and all main attractions. Fantastic transfer service from the airport.
