There was noise from a boules club beneath our room. They are addressing it but one night it went on very late.

The shower was in the bedroom, right next to the bed and there was no ventilation so it got very steamy. The room was generally quiet but not soundproof as described and people could be heard talking in the corridors and other rooms, and sirens very loud from outside

tried to book for a 2nd night and another room for a colleague a couple of weeks before the stay but the price had skyrocketed so decided to go elsewhere

booked a single room and had low expectation due to the size and based on other reviews. To my surprise I got upgraded to a junior suite which was fantastic, huge room, great modern decor, large window yet quiet considering it's right in the centre.

Great location, great views: Speer river, Bode and Pergamon Museum, Tv Anttena, Unter der Linden just a short walk from the hotel. The restaurant next front desk, was a must for breakfast or dinner. Bring ypur tennis and run on Sunday along the Speer river. I"ll be back in my next trip to Berlin

The room was quite dusty and the the pillows were not the cleanest, though the bed linen was clean. The shower was rather leaky and limited space. Basic but functional. Hotel photos are misleading- room bared little resemblance to the reality. This said, the location and comfort of bed were fab and I would happily stay again.

Fab location, extremely comfortable bed and quiet room despite being street side. Helpful and friendly staff. Lots of lovely places to eat close by. Easy access to UandS trains and for travel around the city and to and from the airport.

The building itself is very old and the layout is a bit weird, probably it was ok for the kommunist DDR standards?

Overall this hotel pleasantly surprised me as it seemed more touristy rather than a formal one (I came to Berlin for work and stayed here for a touristic visit after my work event). The front desk staff, Norvi and Julia, were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was good although I could not figure out how to use the juice dispenser.

All good but make sure you ask for a quiet room as the hotel is on a main street.

Excellent breakfast with fresh breads, eggs, cheeses, fruit etc. Location fabulous and you can walk all over the Mitte. The S bahn is 200m and one line goes straight to BER. Staff charming and very helpful - they gave me a late check-out without hesitation

The location is great, also the apartment itself is confortable. The restroom door was a bit difficult to lock , but we really liked thevm room. Also, the view was nice, despite not being towards the river.

The staff (Norvi) on front desk was very nice on arrival. The room was very clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for me. Depending on your walking pace 20-30mins from the main train station amd 5mins from museum island. The restaurant/ bar food was very good, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the breakfast had a wide selection at the buffet.
