Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The temps were about 82 degrees F. Outside, so - needed to keep the windows open. Even with earplugs in, the noise from the street was quite loud all thru the night until about 4 AM
The location is close to the Bahnhof and very easy to get to. The beds are compfortable and the breakfast is great!

The “street public” outside the hotel is terrible. But the hotel it self can’t do much about it.
It was SO clean. Room service was provided daily and thoroughly. I needed a table to read and study, and it was comfortable with good lighting. The location is excellent, just few minutes walking from the central railway station.

The area around the station has many drug users. Hotel is secure and very safe but its not nice to see.
Good value hotel only 5 minutes from main train station. Good breakfast. Reasonable price. Friendly staff.

Outside the street is full of drug people. I don't understand why this is considered as normal in Frankfurt.

Location is a little problematic due to a lot of homeless people around, which is certainly not the fault of the hotel. This should be taken care of by the city government.

I don't think the hotel can do anything about the area around Frankfurt main station. The breakfast was not the best - the eggs were very hard and the bread rolls and croissants were dry but it was edible.
The hotel is good value for money - it is cheap and the surroundings are a bit sketchy but the staff are all very friendly, it is very clean, and it is in a perfect location for the train station and other connections around Frankfurt. The toilets and showers were also very well maintained and cleaned. The breakfast was as expected for the price - no frills but entirely edible! The room was warm and the bed was comfortable.

A pillow was to high, so I had to sleep without it. The pillow was so big that it took a lot of place on a bed, hence I wanted more length for my legs. The location is not the best, but for this amount is alright I guess...
The room was nice and almost clean. Tolilet/shower same, but they were smaller than I expected. The curtains were perfect, I slept well. Breakfast was ok, but unfortunately no hot food was served except boiled eggs...

No shampoo and or body cleanser in the shower.
Close to the railway station. Good breakfast and friendly staff. The hotel was bright and clean.

Perfect Value for the money. 5min from the main station. Everything you need for a short stay. The staff was friendly and the checkin quick 👌 Also liked the late checkout (12am) on a sunday, perfect for long club nights.

There was some strange smell in the room at the beginning, that went away after opening the window.
Despite being very close to the main train station, the hotel lies on a quiet side street. Check-in after 22:00 at the opposite niu hotel was smooth and easy. Check-out was also easy. There is a lift to all floors. The room was just as big as it should be for one person and the price was great!

Although conveniently located, the hotel is in a slightly seedy area of town shading into the red light district. Room a little small. Breakfast options a bit limited, maybe? Still, these are minor reservations really.
Have stayed in this hotel at least once before and was happy to return. Convenient location in one sense, an easy stroll from the station. Room has a useful desk to catch up with Emails. Friendly chap on front desk. Good value in winter - especially considering breakfast is included.
