Not renovated for a long time. But those, who love Soviet Union 80s will love it ;). No scrambled eggs for breakfast. Windows to the street with trafic are not tight, therefore, it is loud over night. Windows to the inneryard are neither tight and the problem here is the loud construction works there.

Price was really good! The room is big, especially spacious toilet. Parking slot available. Possible to geht to Berlin by public transport.

The staff bullied me on the phone and had reserved wrong rooms (3 +1 in stead of 2 + 2). One room was renovated but missed panels on electricity. I could smell cigarettes in the bathroom and front door had no curtain, it's only partly matted: People can look into the room at all times. The other room was inside the rundown hotel and was just too dirty to sleep in. Beds from the 70s, It was smelly despite a constantly running fan in the room. Worn out washer and fridge. The TV was broken off the wall, there was mould on the wall, cupboards with pulled off doors and damaged stripping. The Hotel hallway came straight out of a Walking Dead episode.. We moved out our bags immediately and found other -cheaper- rooms at the Holiday Inn which was 100% better. I with my 'genius level 2 member booking' could not get those rooms for that cheap price though. My colleague without booking app could. Thanks for nothing booking.com ...

The staff were so friendly,the room has a perfect vibe,very clean,the receptionist was so kind to offer me a Park disk.the area is calm and everything went very well. ( it also has an old radio placed next to the bed which still works and is super cool😃)

Very confusing interactions with the owner. When we arrived the front doors were locked with a note saying we need to call a number. We call the number and no one picks up. We stand outside for a couple of minutes confused as to what to do now. The owner arrives in his car after a couple minutes, someone inside the hotel opens the window and talks to us at the same time as the owner in his car. The owner says the guy inside will open for us, the guy inside tells us the owner will open for us... Eventually we get inside, the other guy annoyingly storms into the reception area saying something to the owner. We are confused since we do not know if we should follow this guy or the owner that arrived in his car. Anyhow, the owner hands us the keys and we get into the room. It is very old fashioned. The wall paper is old and stained. The bathroom shower has mold on its sliding doors. And the towels have stains on them. The bathroom basin doesn't drain water properly. There is also no wifi in the room we were in, although wifi was advertised. The first day we weren't sure at breakfast if he is preparing something or if we could just take from the counter. He just comes out with the coffee flask and disappears again into the kitchen. Some other guests didn't have cutlery on their table and were just as confused as us where to find cutlery. Eventually they got the attention of the owner which brought them cutlery. During the entire breakfast the interaction with the owner is super minimal, he almost never speaks to us and he's so quick to just return to the kitchen. The breakfast consists of some warm bread rolls and cold meats and cheese. There are some cheap yogurt options on the counter and boiled eggs. I can't complain about the breakfast too much, it was at least warm bread with butter and filter coffee in a flask. From the looks of it the owner has to do everything in the hotel. And I have to give him credit for running the place by himself.

In a quiet area and close to the bus stop. Breakfast was included.
