This is not NY.I spend 1/3 of my life in hotels.This small and cozy plaze were fantastic. The chef made me the best ever Cordon Blu..It is close to Switzerland and close to Rheinfalls. Yes and yes..even travelling for bussiness or private..From my part very good place for a stay over..👍😊

No sound isolation between rooms. The ceiling in hotel is unusually low, people with height 1.90 plus - take care.

Room a bit small, facing a rather noisy street. The typical German feather doonas - so beautiful in winter - maybe not so ideal for hot summer nights.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Arrived very late after a long drive, stressed, tired, hungry, thirsty and the lady just kept saying "it's all good now" while showing us the place and providing food, although the kirchen was about to close.

the only issue we had 3 rooms and unfortunate enough to get them split on 2 floors

the location was superb for our travel plan plus staff was very cooperative and place was super clean.

The only downside was that there was no one when we wanted to check out. We waited a good half an hour together with other guests that wanted to actually eat breakfast maybe someone will come and we even tried to call the number provided by Booking but no one picked up the phone. We had to leave the key in the room and leave.

We have been staying at Landgasthof Ochsen a couple of times. The accommodation is really good, they provided all the amenities that you need. The room is clean and comfy. They also have a restaurant together with the guest house that provides really good and comfort food. Parking spots are also available in the vicinity. Lately, they renovated the rooms and made it even better. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel in a quiet area close to the Swiss border. The family room is spacious and has its own kitchenette with a refrigerator. Very handy. The restaurant served large meals (a bit salty though) and the hotel has a nice terrace. The breakfast was quite good.

Pretty hard to find anything negative to say about this place. It was just overall a really nice place to be!

Very nice staff, alltough they didn't speak that english. Still enough to make everything perfectly clear. Restaurant had very good traditional food and reasonable prices. Breakfast was also great.

It was advertised of suitable for disabled. This is limited to the ground floor restaurant. The rooms are only accessible by a narrow, winding staircase. The onsuite bathroom are completely unsuitable for disabled people. The bad sheets were stained. I do not like to see traces of previous guests emissions on bad sheets!

The area is a bikers’ heaven, the bed was one of the best i’ve ever slept in (and due to work i sleep in hotels about 60% of the year) and the beer is lovely! Great breakfast too and lovely personnel too. Good water pressure on the shower is also a great selling point (if you sleep in hotels alot, this becomes an important thing)

The Landgasthof hostel exceeded our expectations😃 The room was so clean and bright and airy! The bed was so comfortable and everything was really clean and fresh.
