I did find my bedroom very dark. There wasn’t enough lighting in the room, and the lights that were there, were just not bright enough, which meant I couldn’t read a book in the evening. The bathroom was lovely, but the shower was spoilt by a curtain that was fitted too far into the cubicle, meaning it constantly touched you whilst showering. I can’t remember the last time I had a shower with a curtain in a 4 star hotel. I did raise my concerns about both of these issues during my stay.

Hotel is in walking distance to central station. Staff are very friendly and speak good English. Melvin from the reception team who checked me in on arrival was very professional, and helpful with any questions I had about local area, restaurants etc. A good buffet breakfast available for additional charge.

The pillow is bigger than normal size which could be sometimes not comfortable.

Room size was just nice, with a decent size of toliet, a working table and a kettle which make it perfect stay a for business travellers.

The key holder kept making noise. It was unpleasant and noisy as there was noise all night long. Everything else was good.

The room was very clean and spacious. The location was great as it was between the city center and the train station.

Breakfeast is first class but expensive (17 EUR). 10 minutes walk from city center, also 10 minutes U79 that takes you to Düsseldorf.

The underground car park could be better organised as it is currently not possible to make a reservation.

The location is great as the hotel is close to the city centre. The breakfast buffet is really good and worth the money. The room is spacious and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Location is excellent, very close to the metro. Hotel is quiet old but modern. Many stairs in their hotel, we have big suitcases for everyone, but they can help us carry all to our room. That was very nice and friendly.

Surprisingly lovely hotel with it’s own small swimming pool (available at set times), bar and secure parking for our bikes in the underground car park. Very friendly staff, good location opposite a park.

No air conditioning in the room. The bathroom furnishing and equipment look quite dated.

Easy access from/to motorways, so was a convenient stop-over place on a long car journey. Parked the car in the street, just in front of the hotel. The hotel located on a quiet street, 10 min walk to the city centre. Spacious, clean room. Great breakfast buffet. Friendly staff.

Spacious and well furnished. Very convenient location, both for train station access and for finding a restaurant in the evening. High quality and well supplied breakfast buffet, presented ample choice even for someone requiring low-carb. nutrition. Quiet surroundings (not facing the main street) allowed sleeping with an open window.

The shower had a half door that did not seal and water went on the floor even with trying hard to contain. Not a relaxing shower! No bath mat or face towels provided. No fan.

This was our 3rd stay. As always, the personnel were friendly and professional. There are many options to eat...we ate the Italian restaurant just a few minutes from the hotel. Glad to have underground parking at a reasonable price.
