In the dorms the beds were extremely squeaky so we moved to a private room on the late night. Very little privacy in the shower area, doors while weren’t see through would be an upgrade. Often there were men in the girls bathroom.

Good location central to train station, restaurants and bars. Staff were helpful and friendly. Daily breakfast was cheap and laundry facilities very handy.

My only criticism would be that I found the bed was rather uncomfortable, mattress offered little support and "bedding" was the thinnest duvet I've ever seen - that didn't matter tho' as it was a very hot few days!

Great location, close to Warschauer Strasse S/U Bahn stations, nice quiet area, very friendly staff, well appointed single room with it's own shower and sink.

Weak wi fi connection in the rooms, they have a lot of staff maybe cause of that, some of them are quiet arrogant, less control i don t know.Happen to me 3 times the key card connection to the door room "broke" in the middle of the might after went to the wc and i had to go the reception do another one

Some guests(customers) may come earlier. If they want to put their luggage in the locker room,they will have to pay 2€ per locker for12 hours.I suggest that this rule should be changed.

I had impression that one person with which we shared a room lives there. Person iteself was fine, but it was too much staff on the common pieces in the room such as chairs and table.

Brekfast was nice, location near by metro station very accesible.I think that booking room with 4 friends woud be a better experience.

Noisy, mostly cause the hand dryer sound like a vacuum cleaner. I asked the heater to put down and it didn’t worked.

Sound from the shared bathrooms travelled through to the bedroom, woke up a few times to people when they were coming home at midnight. Carry suitcases up stairs (not a biggie for us, but may be for others with disabilities)

Great location. Within 10 min (easy) walking to the metro & main roads. The room was spacious with plenty of space to put x2 suitcases. Access to washing machines, dryer & a coffee machine. Awesome security at the hostel. You can tell they’ve taken active steps to make sure people are safe & secure.

The toilets and showers were not that pleasant, especially on the first floor.. Also the hostel not providing guests with soap/schampoo in the showers was disappointing. Beds in my room (004) were super squeeky which was a bummer but earplugs solved it

Staff were super chill and helpful, same goes with the roommates i had! They also have a bar at the entrance which is a nice way of meeting new people if you're into that My bed was surprisingly comfy Very cheap place to stay in :)

We had a slight hiccup during checkin. We arrived early so we were to get access to the room and the common bathrooms till our checkin. We were told that the room isn’t available. Since there was plenty time to checkin, we decide to use the locker service (€2) to store our bags and head out but then the lockers were full. Later the property checked us in. We could have done that right when we came and saved us 1 hour to trying to freshen up and change in the common area toilet.

The room was spacious and clean. Close to a station with great connectivity and also to good and party joints.

Good price according to location. Great staff in hostel, always ready to help in all issues. Breakfast costs only 6 euro. There is a bar with places to seat on the first floor, where you can have a rest or play table games and so on.

The radiator was on constantly so it got a bit hot in the room sometimes. But we did not ask the staff to turn it down so that is partially our fault.

We booked a private room and we had so much space! Much more than we expected. The location was also great, close to the train station (we came to Berlin by train) and close to many good restaurants.

I booked a single private ensuite room. My room had a sink and shower, but not a toilet. I had to use the communal toilet. It would have been good if it was made clear when choosing the room that the ensuite didn’t include a toilet.

Wifi was very weak and slow probably my room was in the corner and this was the reason.

The location of the hostel is very central. If you want to enjoy the night life of Berlin, this is a good place to stay because it is closer to these places. The staff was very smiley and friendly.

Unfortunately when i arrived at the hostel, the female staff member who i spoke with was very rude, condescending, and i was genuinely shocked. It was a really bad way to start my visit to Berlin, especially after a long trip and as i was travelling alone. It tainted my stay at the Sunflower, but the rest of the staff seemed more approachable and attentive. I just got unlucky here i guess!

This hostel is in a fantastic location and only a short walk from public transport links, making it easy to get to get around and a simple trip from the airport. The area feels residential being off the main road but is close to many bars, RAW, the eastside gallery, Berghain, and there is a supermarket on the next block, making it a great base for your visit to Berlin. The communal areas are welcoming and a good place to meet people if thats whats your after. Clean room, strong wifi, great hot shower.
