Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe Gym are a bit small the beach need to have a better control about motorboats they come with high speed to the beach without checking there are swimmers or snorkel persons. Create some closed area’s for swimmer… The corals have been completely damaged with all the ankers of the boats and people from the boats love to throw the garbage in the water. Better forbidden these boats and establish a nice Kitesurfing area with some surfing style. Possible for the hotel to have a own yacht charter on there place to get a skipper for one day who takes you out. I would love to walk to the beach there are a tight palm garden with monkeys and birds what gives me the vibes to be on a island. In the Hotel I booked a activity to the Saona Island for 1 day and it was completely bad. I like more the exclusive small trips, what means no hassle and I dont have to change 8 times the boat. There was a high possibility while snorkelling to get lost in the current of the choppy water in the open ocean and the boat would have left without me. Im a full diver and snorkel person but in this trip i had to swim against very strong current without fins. After I arrived, I was blasted by the heat the water movement and completely exhausted by the strong soak and currents. The problem was around the boat was destroyed no fish or either corals so I had to move farther out to see the underwater beauty.
The beach, the reception and the beautiful rooms with view to the inside to the garden and beach. I had 2 different rooms and no disappointment absolutely breathtaking the view to the ocean and garden. The help to find nice restaurants around the resort. Had a rental car and it adds so many value for flexibility to go out and visit restaurants. Way cheaper than take any taxi. The bar and the building quality are impressive… seen a lot 5 stars hotels and this have been added to my favourite. Short stay about 7 days are perfect and good enough to enjoy life in sun and relax a bit from the weather in Europe. Be aware its not a All Inclusive but does it matter? No!

United States of AmericaWith few exceptions, Staff is not friendly. When we arrived and were checking in, they didn’t find our reservation. They also gave us a different (worse) room than we had booked—no ocean view as it was showed in booking.

United States of AmericaThe rooms are not very cozy and a bit sterile. Could use some pictures or artwork or maybe nicer furniture pieces. The lobby staff did not give much information about hotel/available amenities & available Covid testing on site.
Location, right on the beach, 6 min to airport. Nice pool area and garden. Good food at the restaurant. Very easy to get Covid test on site. Secure, gated resort area. Close to Punta Cana Village with shops & restaurants. Clean room, good housekeeping. Most staff were pleasant & accommodating. Staff wore face masks at all times. Free entry to Indigenous Eyes Nature reserve.

United Kingdomsome restaurants are closed - and others had had shortened opening times which are changed unpredictabley. the hotel refuses to allow Uber pickups but does allow Uber drop offs, the 20 usd airport shuttle is a total ripoff, get an Uber to drop you off for 5 usd - not 40 usd for an airport shuttle (and then you get hassled to give an extra tip on top of the rip-off fee) . the beach restaurant staff are rude bordering on belligerent.
property is nice, beach is lovely.

South AfricaThe only thing that needs attention is the room that is a little outdated - like most of the hotels in Punta Cana. Otherwise, its definitely worth staying at least a week.
I initially booked to stay here for 4 days, but I ended up extending my stay three times. Been here for two weeks now. This place is paradise! Love the location, the beautiful beach, the good food and all the friendly staff.
