Being next to the stadium during the celebration of Mindo was a bit of a challenge but Tatiana was very accommodating.

Beautiful property very near to town center and next to the soccer stadium. We watched many birds feeding direct from our room porch. And the orchids are stunning.

If there was anything I had to pick on, it would be the roosters who start crowing at 4:30 am and the dogs that sometimes bark and whine through the night (not at the property so not their fault!). If you're a light sleeper, I would suggest bringing ear plugs. Also, the water pressure in our shower wasn't great. However, these things did NOT in ANY way affect our enjoyment of our stay there!

The location was perfect, an easy 5 minute walk to the main part of town. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and consisted of fresh fruit, fresh juice, coffee, eggs, and a toasted bun. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, they were so wonderful! We loved our little cabana with a hammock on the porch, which was surrounded by nature and we saw so many hummingbirds! We appreciated the fact that we had hot water in the shower and electricity to charge our devices. We were so, so pleased with our stay, we had such a wonderful, relaxing time and would highly recommend the Cabañas de Armonia to anyone staying in Mindo.

Breakfast was really good. They made me a breakfast to go when I was up and gone before breakfast hours. I had one of the newer rooms and it was really nice. Location was easy walking distance to the main street and restaurants.

The canañas were rustic, but very comfortable. It was great to wake up to the sounds of the birds chirping and to watch the hummingbirds flying around during breakfast. It was close enough to town but at the edge so things were nice and quiet. Everyone who worked there was super nice as well. It looked like they had more modern rooms available, too, but I think the wooden Cabañas were great. Overall, a wonderful time.

The room was simple but clean - and it has everything you need for the bathroom. The garden and the surroundings were amazing, because you could hear the sound of birds all the time - it felt like a mini jungle :) We also managed to organize a bird watching tour and a nocturne tour from them. Breakfast was okay - we had juice, tea/ coffee, eggs, fruit and butter with jam.

Back to nature in these cabanas; surrounded by trees and nature sounds of birds, frogs, crickets etc Our room was comfortable, clean and big. The staff were fabulous, we asked for help with ATM machine (if you need cash you need to go to another town to an international cash machine) we had our laundry done, we booked cable car and ski lift and butterfly farm tickets all via the owners - they were great! Breakfast was lovely, we ate it peacefully in the garden saw some hummingbirds

- Street next to the hut leading to attractions was well used by trucks and hence noisy (other huts are further away) - Noise from neighbors - Loud Music from Stadium over the street - Not really a safe way to lock the cabana (Padlock through tiny loops screwed into wood will not hold a motivated tug).

We had a great time. Nice cabanas, good bed, hot shower (don't expect much of the water pressure), tasty breakfast, near the town center. Nice to sit at the cabana porch and observe birds, orchids.

The cabanas are wooden so have thin walls so you'll hear your neighbors if they speak loudly. It's not a problem unless you are a very very light sleeper. But all the other positives far outweigh the occasional noise you hear from neighbors.

I researched many places to stay and chose this place because it's on the edge of town (only 10 minutes walk to the center where you'll find restaurants) but on the edge closer to nature where I'm more likely to see & hear birds. This place was perfect! You stay inside a garden full of orchids, plants, trees and birds so you feel like you're in the middle of nature but conveniently in town. The place is a popular orchid garden where non-guests have to pay money to visit so staying in the garden is an extra benefit for guests. Everyday, especially early morning, you can see hummingbirds, butterflies and even two resident motmot birds. The private cabana has a large private bathroom with hot water, plus a hammock and chairs in the porch to relax when it's raining outside. The cabana also has lots of wall hangers which is a nice surprise to hang clothes and bags. They also encourage guests to remove dirty shoes on the porch to help keep rooms clean. The full breakfast is excellent with eggs, juice, bread, fruit and hot drink. Most importantly the kind family who operates the hotel are incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed for 4 nights and it was the perfect place to relax before flying out of Quito late evening.

You're still in town so although you get the night time sounds of the forest theres still urban noise.

Central location a short walk from town. Big, wild garden with cabins distributed around. Cabins are basic but comfortable, some with a hammock. Shower seemed good and breakfast is nice. A good option if you want to be very close to centre but still feel in the woods.

We had a private cabane in the middle of a luxurious garden with plenty of birds, it was a little paradise for one night we could not try breakfast in the morning cause we had an early morning tour planned so we can’t tell but the location and the place itself were awesome
