Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

IrelandThe only suggestion I can make would be to have some kind of shade on the terrace - it can get quite hot and there is no escape from the sun. Even a table with a parasol would be nice, Otherwise no complaints :)
The complex is beautifully laid out, with lots of green space and plenty of meandering pathways to stroll along. I enjoyed ambling around and visiting the Cactus Garden, tucked away in a quiet corner of the complex. The pool areas are very pleasant and were not too crowded when we visited (Easter 2024). The pool bar is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a drink or snack. The staff are great, friendly and efficient. The complex is spotlessly clean, with staff constantly tidying up. And speaking of staff, every single person we met was friendly and greeted us. They made us feel truly welcome. The accommodation (1 bed pool view apartment) was great. The apartment was what you expect from a 1 bed holiday apartment and every one of our party of 3 was comfortable for the 10 days we stayed, We were missing a toaster and reception had brand new one delivered in minutes, The location of the complex is roughly a 10 minute easy walk to the town of Playa Blanca - there is a back gate into the complex and this is the quickest way to get to town (key available for €10 deposit at reception). Playa Blanca is a nice laid back town with mostly restaurants, along the front, and shops behind. There is also a port where you can get the ferry to nearly Fuerteventura (a lovely day trip, recommended). The staff everywhere are very nice and accommodating, extending that feeling of welcome. Busses are readily available should you wish to visit other towns on the island- and an this point I'd like to give a shout out to the cafe inside the bus station who serve the best coffee (Americano) in town (and the cheapest!). I took a 1/2 day South Island bus tour to visit the Timanfaya National Park (Volcano and Camel Ride) and I'd really recommend taking a tour rather than going in your own car- the queue for private cars to get it was horrifying!! The tour busses get to skip this queue :)

Well laid out; spacious, clean. Staff courteous and friendly. The hotel was doing well to be environmentally friendly; all apartment blocks had recycling areas.

United KingdomThe room could have been better cleaned, particularly the bathroom (but as said, it was peak time).
I stayed there during the Easter holidays so it was busy, however it was still very pleasant, enough space at the pools and restaurant (a couple of times waited a few minutes to be seated). Food (we only have breakfast) was good, you could find everything you would expect in a buffet.

United KingdomBuffet restaurant is not big enough to cater for the number of guests and I went out of season I can’t imagine what it would be like in peak season. Night time entertainment was shocking.
Beautiful hotel with so many pools to choose from, kept immaculately clean by the hard working staff that can’t do enough to help.

SloveniaA mini club for kids below 4 years old is very poorly organised especially in the afternoon (from 3 pm-5 pm), normally as a parent would like to spend time indoors playing with kids, due to the very hot sunny weather. Unfortunately most of the time the mini club was closed in the afternoon as they would organise activities for older kids would spend time in outdoor experience. We were not the one not parent with the same experience - as a family orientated hotel you do not wanna have disappointed kids nor parents. From professional experience I know these things are possible to organise, I suggest you put more attention to this matter. This is the only reason the score is low.
Amazing hotel to stay with the family. We got a very warm welcome from Oleg. He was very helpful as we wanted to change the room. Open space ambience on streets and parks are perfect for kids to run around and enjoy outdoor life. You can have a lot of privacy at the pool area. The cleaning ladies were helpful and very professional ,very good job!

IrelandWater in all swimming pools was very cold. Some mainatance issues in big pool - stairs - cordoned off with red tape not enough safety measures if this was hazard. Extra fees for non alcoholic drinks during dinner Sofa bed not comfortable Air conditioning not suficient or not working 100% - Could have noticed temp change only after few hours during the night but during the day - not much use from it. Decided to not use it at all - opened all windows instead.
Room - clean and all appliances Food - Breakfast and Dinner - lots of options. Events - Some good events - some bad. Pool and ground floor apartments advantages Safety Distance to town and beach Parking Scenery - very well mantained hotel and surroundings.

United KingdomUnfortunately our apartment wasn't cleaned every day, we had two or three visits to change bedding and towels and bins but that was it. Beds weren't very comfortable and we did have problems with ants, yea it's a hit country so to be expected and some spray did the trick. Small balconies which weren't in the sun. Pools very freezing cold. Self catering facilities were ok, minimal. We only had one teaspoon and a tiny tea towel. Slightly too far from the beach for us but good location. Entertainment wasn't great at all.
The slides for the kids, reception staff were excellent very helpful, location was lovely. Gorgeous sunshine 🌞 Kids mini disco was good and activities in the day. Drinks good value.

The staff was very friendly and helpful we had a great time. Ask for the key for the back gate so is a shorter walk to the beach. The pool bar was very nice and the animation team was great very kind with our kids they really enjoyed

GermanySome odd smell from the bathroom pipes, but it did not permeat the rest of the apartment. It would have been welcome to have at least some dishwashing liquid and a bit of salt in the kitchenette. While not strictly enforced, the pools close very early at 18:00. In March only the smaller pools in the courtyards were heated, while the larger pools with the slides were just a tiny bit too chilly.
Great place to take the family for a bit of relaxation poolside, with a decent price-to-quality ratio. Had all the things you'd expect from this kind of resort: plenty water attractions for the kids, bars with decent prices even when you are not all inclusive, fun evening entertainment for the kids (even if turnout in March was not great), decently equipped gym. On a windier day you can take the little ones to a small but fun indoor entertainment area. I really appreciated the designated swimming lanes in the adult pool, which were not crowded, it's rare that I manage to get any proper swimming done at these resorts!

IrelandThree restaurants but booked out completely before we got there.. There is also a buffet restaurant and whilst the food is excellent it is like a cattle market...queues all the way up the stairs...I assume the reason for this is because the other restaurants only open every other day and so hard to get a reservation. The entertainment is pretty bad too...you have very little choice but to walk into playa Blanca which is about twenty five minutes in but a taxi back is only 3 euros 50 .
Lovely apartment..Nice pool view We were celebrating a special occasion and we were treated to champagne and flowers and cakes in our room which we thought was a really lovely touch and we are most grateful for it ..thank you. There is a key to the gate that saves you a good twenty five minutes walk heading into the centre so be sure to ask for it because they don't tell you..10 euros deposit but well worth it. Also an adult only pool section and you can rent a nice towel for ten euros and change it every day until you leave and get your deposit back.. The apartment is cleaned every day and you couldn't fault the lovely cleaning staff . The pool bar serves nice fast food at very reasonable prices.

IrelandThe apartment is a bit dated, so is the kitchen equipment. Also as it's a large complex, the restaurant tends to be busy. Larger pools are not heated.
Great location, just 10min walk from the beach, heated pool in the apartment section, good choice of food, very friendly staff, comfortable beds in the bedroom and the pull out sofa bed has also a full size mattress. Car park available just in front of the entrance. Great kids entertainment and facilities. It's definitely good value for money.
