Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Really there is nothing to fault.
The apartment was on the beach and adjacent to the shops and restaurants, so perfect for both swimming and sunbathing during the day and shopping for food or going out for dinner at night. The beach goes for miles (i know because i ran and swam it), the water is clear and the sand is white. Our plane was delayed by approx 7hrs so an easy journey became difficult, and we eventually arrived at the apartment at 3.30am in the morning. The host was there to meet us, handover the keys and explain the apartment, which was fantastic customer service. The host responded to our queries quickly whenever we needed help and we got our deposit back very quickly when we checked out, so this aspect of the holiday was as good as it could have been.

I loved the location and the beautiful view. Noura and her husband couldn’t do enough for us. We felt very well looked after. I would definitely recommend and would love to return. We had an amazing time.

It's in the town center, so it's a bit noisy at night but quiets down at a reasonable hour.
Owner went above and beyond being helpful and answering questions. Great service and location.very handy for buses to old town, taxi to airport, or all the restaurants.

for fifth member of our family they slept in main living area which was very hot as no Aircon in main living area apart from that it was a perfect accommodation
Fantastic property , Noura a pleasure to deal with . BedRooms both had air con which was necessary Ability to access both beach and pool meant all family were well catered for Location was in the middle of everything cooking utensils etc were all available and in prefect order

Great location on the beach, right in the heart of all the shops and restaurants, next to the bus stops which are really handy. The apartment is in a really nice complex with a good pool, kitchen has everything you need to have meals at home. Noura the host met us for check in and check out and organised taxi pick ups from airport, she was available via WhatsApp for anything we needed, we didn’t need much! Would definitely go back here, a lovely family holiday

Floors became quite slippery when wet, maybe a few anti slip mats would be good around the apartment, especially when kids are going back and forth to the pool.
Fabulous location, literally open the doors to the pool, and a fab view of the beach, and very pretty at night when the bay was lit up. Noura was a great host, we were met on arrival and when leaving, taxis were arranged for us and all communication dealt with straight away.

The most incredible location, right on the beach and opposite the pool. A wonderful and accommodating host. It was the most ideal couple of days with a young family - we can’t wait to return!

We were a family of 5, and i think the apartment would perhaps be better suited to 4 people but that said it certainly served our purpose and we knew that before we attended - we didn't spend much time in the apartment other than sleeping as so much to see and do...
The location was fantastic with close proximity to the lovely beach but also local bars and restaurants. We also loved the view from the balcony overlooking the pool and the beach beyond - plenty of people watching opportunities! Noura our wonderful host was amazing too, with excellent communication and very helpful attitude - would deffo go back!

We didn't like , that it have 5 stairs from elevator to the appartment with a little hall and we had a babypram.
The appartment was good and comfortable. 3 Rooms, and 2 bathrooms. A kitchen with all you need and a Washing machine. For a family with Kids very good. Is with direct See View, a big balcony and is near the beach.

the furniture is old, water in bathroom is running weak, the door of bathroom has not latch. the bed room so small. some things in the apartment so messy, behind the door the owner put everything look so messy when you close door you can see even the bloom …etc look not tidy
