Stayed again on way back to UK. Great Wi-Fi as had to work one day. Rooms are cheap, clean and comfortable but food and drink has increased in price. Especially when they know you are a tourist - you get charged more than the locals!

I didn’t realize how remote cambil was. Nothing to do in town.

Didn’t have breakfast. The tapas just kept coming thick and fast. Great staff, locals were friendly. Room nice, bed and shower good, good value for money.

Great value for money. Clean and safe. Easy parking.👍🏼 Excellent food served in the bar for evening meal and breakfast is simple but perfectly ample and tasty. All alcoholic drinks come with a free tapa which is rare in Spain nowadays! 😜

On arrival, my wife went into the bar to check in and was completely ignored by the manager. She was then told to continue waiting whilst he served the local clientele their drinks. Eventually I swapped and a man tasked with sorting out the room got off his stool reluctantly after finishing his beer to check us in- I asked if we were inconveniencing him and explained that is not what is expected. He then understood and became more helpful. Parking is either on street or in the pub cellar, with no access without asking the bar staff- which may have taken sometime if they were busy. An additional charge of 10 euros for this. Overall, the place is lovely and value for money, just a shame the male staff were so ignorant and arrogant.

The room and location was great. The food and female server was also exceptional.

So simply good! Really worth staying longer!

Bustling modern well managed property with charming staff. Very good cooking from busy kitchen. Lovely room overlooking historic town clustered in two gorges. Great English speaking welcome & table service from Cristina. Impressive morning stroll up to Moorish castle pinnacle. On fringe of natural park of olive groves threaded through mountains. Only 15 mins detour from motorway monotony.

Great find. Very busy when we arrived, but we were served very well. Brilliant staff, great food and a comfortable room at a realistic price. We will use again.

For me a travelling on my motorcycle it was the perfect stop over place, I stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the easy atmosphere in this place. All the locals use the bar and restaurant so it can't be bad. The staff were helpful, the prices very good. The food was traditional and well priced. Breakfast was coffee and a traditional bread with tomato salsa, it was possible to order some ham and cheese as well. I found the room to be quiet, clean and tidy, even a small fridge to put things in. The village has a small store and a couple of bars and the surroundings are typically rural Spain, great roads for motorcycling.

We didn't have any real complaints nor any small niggles. I guess the only slight thing might be the on street parking outside the hotel which, when we were there, was just about adequate.

Everything about our stay here exceeded expectations. Not only was the room clean and comfortable, the bar was lively with local people. The bar staff were very friendly and spoke a little English although all of our group spoke good Spanish. Food and drink was reasonably priced and we really enjoyed the simple but wholesome traditional food on the menu. As a base for hiking in the Sierra Mágina the location was just about perfect.

I couldn't get the heating to work in the room. It was a bit late to ask for assistance, but I put the extra duvet from the wardrobe on the bed so was fine.

Lovely room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Couple of beers in the bar and was given a free omelette, bread and olives.

We loved everything here! The room was beautiful. The bathroom was decorated beautifully and so clean. We had dinner and breakfast in the bar and we enjoyed the ambience. The service was excellent!
