This place is a wonderful find. Nestled in the mountains in a small hamlet. Lovely walks all around and up to the monasteries. The staff were so lovely and helpful. Very clean and cool rooms. The meals are great too.

Santa Cruz is a quiet village with great views as were the views from our room The staff were really friendly and the food really tasty Could have stayed longer but just passing through for one night

Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. A lovely room, with a balcony overlooking the 10th century church. Food was good and a nice selection of local beers in the bar. My husband raved over the beer with lemon.

This hotel is set in a charming spot and it was a pleasure to return. Staff friendly and helpful. Dinner can be quite light if, like us, you so prefer.

A little expensive outside the season

Wonderful location just next to church of Santa Maria and on the Camino path descending from the old and new monasteries. Hotel has a restaurant as well with the offer of a menu. Good breakfast Large room with exposed wooden beams.

The trout at dinner didn’t seem fresh.

This is a delightful small hotel in an unspoilt Medieval village surrounded by tree-covered mountains and close to the church. We were made very welcome and the room was well equipped but quite small. There was a large choice of food for dinner in the restaurant. It is an ideal location for exploring the area.

thin walls, I could hear neighbors talking on phone and coughing constantly. bring earplugs! room was invaded by annoying flies. I spent a long time killing them until my arm was tired and still there were more. disgusting.

Having to move on, would have liked to have stayed longer

Perfect location off the beaten track, lovely view of the monastery from the balcony, evening meal on the terrace under a giant oak tree watching the Swifts wheeling round above the village was wonderful, excellent meal of salads followed by rabbit. Good choice of wines and beers. Plenty of parking space and free WiFi. Comfortable bed and hot shower.

We stayed here a couple of years ago driving back to the UK from Spain, had such a great stay we decided to stop again. Location & surroundings perfect, evening meal outside on the terrace which was excellent. Breakfast was the usual Spanish toast with tomato and cake with a large coffee - perfect. Many thanks to Mamen who posted some clothes that my wife left in the wardrobe.

I should have stayed for a week, not a night.

This is a lovely, simple hotel in a beautiful location, with very kind staff and an excellent restaurant where the meat is cooked on an open fire. The village is one of the prettiest in the whole of Spain, and it is good base for exploring an underrated area. The bedroom, which had a terrace, had a fabulous view of the superb romanesque church and the dramatic landscape.

Lovely old village. Perfect place to stay before crossing Pyrenees into France Very quiet and nice staff with limited English spoken. No shops and mostly closed because of Covid.
