the location, while very close to the airport in terms of pure distance, is not well connected by public transit. it takes two busses to get from TFS to the hostel, a taxi is about 20 euros.

the free breakfast while doesn't have a huge selection, was a pleasant surprise for the price. The beds were fine though not that good, same goes for the room, which is just permanent tents, not a big deal for the summer, but might be a problem in the winter if they are open.

We had a companion who snored, but of course it is a hostel and you have to adapt. Remember your earplugs 😅

I only stayed for one night. The position near the airport is strategic. The boy at the reception was very kind. I really appreciate the patio and the relaxed atmosphere.

Even though the location is not convenient for public transport and food, it is pleasant to meet with different people who live there. I highly recommend the yoga in the morning.

The bathrooms, and showers mainly, can be improved. At least body soap in the shower would be nice. The rooms right next to the kitchen and the living room are not an option: too noisy even having the recommendation to be quiet at 10, people still hang out there and talk.

It would have been better if there was some kind of breakfast put on. Most people arrive in the evening at night and have nothing for the next day as the shops aren't super close. Some milk with the tea and coffee too. They offer a service to the airport which is the same as a taxi which is a bit much - and the airport is so close.

The volunteers were lovely and welcoming, as well as everyone you meet there. I felt like Los Amigos brings out all the good and beauty in people. All the best people stay at this hostel I swear! Wonderful communal area, sharing of meals... A delight ❤️ definitely up there with my favourite hostels on all my travels.

The kitchen area seems to be poorly designed. There is only 1 sink, and a very small area where one has to stand in order to use the microwave, the stoves or the sink. At dinner time, people were constantly getting in each other's way. The stoves are also very difficult to light (in the end, I decided not to risk blowing up the building and ended up asking a member of staff!). If there are more racks for drying clothes, then it would be great. There is a pool on the premises, but I have never seen anyone using it. I think there are no instructions and people were not sure what it is meant for (swimming, jacuzzi, etc.). Some notices could help. Please note that the hostel does not provide any breakfast, only hot coffee. There is only 1 bus per hour in each direction, so make sure that you know the bus times when going somewhere.

I see cleaners cleaning the place nearly all the time, and the place is clean and tidy despite the large number of people residing there. There were enough shower cubicles so I never had to wait long. Despite the closeness to the airport, the noise of planes taking off and landing is not as bad as anticipated.

The hostel is a bit remote, going for food takes a 10-15 minute walk. Also, it is a hostel, so the dorms can be noisy. But the people are quite friendly and considerate, so it does work out nicely in the end.

I loved the vibe and all people mingling and chatting. The common area and the kitchen are really fun and comfortable spaces.

The neighborhood is weird. There is absolutely nothing, only the airport 300m away (but not on the entrance side 8km from there, too bad!). No supermarket / restaurants / cafes around. Towels are not provided. Kitchen is way too small, especially when all guests need to cook as there is no spot around!

That’s a warm spot to spend a couple night upon arrival in / departure from TFS close by. Once you get into the hostel it is quite nice and cozy with its outdoor area. Showers are OK, dorms as well. Staff is super nice and helpful. Free coffee. Airport transfer option (18€).

I'd have loved a later yoga class than 8am Maybe 10am. I didn't get to try the class Ventilation's an issue in the girls dorm. Fyi, there's just one female dorm which I chose as I'm a light sleeper and thought my chance of sleeping with snorers would be smaller.

The hostel was cleaned regularly and very well looked after. Relaxed spot. Near a bus stop.

I stayed there only one night but I enjoyed my stay. The staff was nice, the location convenient (close to the beach) and it was cozy. There's free coffee in the morning for coffee lovers :) The airport is close but it takes almost an hour with the public transportation to reach it.

Plenty of seating area both in the sun and in the shade. Free coffee in the morning was a nice touch. A lot of people cooked full meals but the kitchen was always left clean and tidy. Ample showers and toilets

I think it is a very good decision that they have stopped serving breakfast. The mornings are a lot less hectic now than they used to be. It's just a bit of a challenge to conquer some space in one of the fridges. But there are quite a few very affordable restaurants within 20 minutes walking distance, so I did not find that much of a problem. It would be better if quiet hours would start at 11pm instead of 10pm.

This place always seems to attract a very diverse crowd. Some just come for hiking or cycling, while others mainly chill around the pool or on the beach. You'll meet all kinds of travellers in the common area in the evenings. The staff do a very good job at keeping the place clean and tidy. I hope to see Kevin (David) and Francesca again next year.
