Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Great location, near to shops, restaurants, public transport, all just few minutes walking distance. Breakfast was amazing, great variety of food. The girls at reception and bar was always really friendly and helpfull. Thank you very much for all the help. An special thank you to the lady that was helping me with my dress and bracellet, I think I never asked her name, my apologies. Near to the beach 🙂

Our room was near the lift which was a little noisy and the balcony wasn't very private.
Location is great, rooms are clean, breakfast is good.

We were with our two year old son. Our room was on the 4th floor and the balcony had railings so was totally unsuitable for our son to be anywhere near. I feel like we would have been more suited in balcony that had the walled/glass barrier and/or on the bottom floor.

It would be useful to have more information from the reception and the hotel that the rooftop pool area closes at 7 p.m. Our room was near at the entrance to the pool and a lot of tourists tried to get there after closing hours, even after 10 p.m., which made it noisy in the corridor.
Great and helpful service, rich breakfasts. The room exceeded our expectations in terms of space, terrace, and view - the only thing missing was an electric kettle (but there was a coffee machine). The location is very good, the area is quiet before the season, and there is plenty of space on the beach. There was algae in some places at the entrance to the water, but we knew about it and it was not a problem. Bus connection to the Palma goes every 10 minutes. Good value for money, we will probably visit again someday.

Although it can’t be helped, there is no parking in the area. At the time I arrived, the porte-cochere was closed, therefore there was no where to drop bags and park the car off site.
The view and location to restaurants was incredible! There was also an abundance of in room amenities (tv, toiletries, coffee etc).

Rooftop and pool area to be cleaned and kept in better conditions. Would be great if staff could inform about all hotel services available. The once I spoke to didn’t know what was in the bike basement. Spend 30 min educating all and show them around would be a simple gain.

No hot air conditioning available during “ summer” season. My room was cold because it never got any sun being an inner courtyard room. The temperature was cool and wet for the first 2 days of my stay. They provided me with a duvet!!

The pillows were very hard, i like firm pillows but we couldnt use them because they were causing us neck ache, the spa facilities were closed and were also not included in the price of the stay. No tap water option at dinner, the bottle water was the same price as a beer. Also the room was very very hot!
The harbour view from the balcony and the view from the rooftop bar were excellent! Staff were all multilingual which was very helpful. The hotel was very clean and much nicer than in the pictures. Great range of food at breakfast and dinner, both buffet style. The shower water pressure was really good. The hotel is in a great location, by the beach and restaurants and bars in can pastilla, only 10 mins from the airport and 15 or so minutes drive from Palma. The hotel was great value for money and we will definitely come again.
