The level of cleanliness was not to the standard that I´ve come to expect in Spain. The bathroom had a bit of a moldy smell and did not seem very clean, but this could have been due to the fact that it is rather old and ´tired´. My room was on the upper floor and the room seemed to trap the cooking smells of the building - not necessarily a bad thing, but it did make the room a little ´stuffy´.

The location of this Pensión is excellent - walking distance to the Guggenheim, the old quarter and the major shopping strip. The room was spacious and quite comfortable. Access to the Pensión and the room was easy. The staff were, in general, friendly and attentive.

Not very good privacy as you could hear what was happening in the corridor. There were no blinds (just curtains) on the windows, letting the light pass through at early hours of the morning. Some parts of the walls were cracked.

Handy location. Very close to all transport options including metro and walkable to various areas of city if you don't mind walking a little while. Very clean. Great for short stay. Easy check in, check out, they held my bags for me on check out day so I could go to the Guggenheim and pick them up a bit later. Thank you :)

It's not Ritz it's pension in the city center. Staff is very kind and helpful, everything is close by, walking distance to all main attractions and important public transport stations. The noise doesn't last longer than 1am so for a city center it is pretty quiet. Safe part of the center.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable for my taste, but two nights were doable for me.

Great location, especially when you travel by train. Only a stone’s throw from Abando (Renfe) and Concordia (FEVE). Right in the middle of everything interesting in Bilbao. Don’t expect a luxurious hotel. But it’s great value for money if you are a modest tourist.

My only negative was that I was a bit cold in the evening.

The Pension Bilbao is just a short walk from the station and close to the city centre. Starbucks is just on the corner for nice breakfast. You can also walk along the river side to the Guggenheim Museum which is so amazing.

The location is not friendly for visitors with car, however the host can manage parking lot for you for 14euros per day. The main light in the room was not working. And finally I missed at least some cutlery and a possibility to prepare hot drinks in the room or in the area of the flat.

Perfect location in Bilbao. Lot of public transport hubs in neighboring area. Few minutes walking from main old town's attractions. Nice bar nearby and many others within 5 mins walking. Good bathroom. And room is pretty large.

Very noisy at night due to the cafes across the street from the hotel. No double glazing and it went on till 1 in the morning. Being an small street notice carries and if I could have understood the language I could have perhaps enjoyed their conversation. I wonder if you check the hotels I have been in at all before recommendations in your site as it is not always right.

Great spot as it is close to the old city as well as teams, metro and busses. The tourist office close by and lots of cafes n the area.

Great location for visiting Bilbao, just a short walk from most attractions. The room is somewhat basic but it has a fan - much welcome on warmer nights. The host kindly agreed for a check-in after the reception hours and waited for us until well after midnight when our flight was delayed.

We had quite a few mosquitoes in the room at night as we had to leave the window open for ventilation.

Everything was decent - cleanliness, staff, room size. The location was amazing as it's right in the centre of Bilbao and a short walk from the Old Town. They also have an elevator.
