The restaurant opened too late in the evening for us

From arrival to departure the staff were excellent. The room was clean and beds comfy. The staff in the bar were attentive and the food very good. Breakfast was served in the restaurant and there was a lot of choice from the buffet.

We asked to change the long bolster for individual pillows. No problem.

The receptionists were two of the best ever encountered on our travels. They even provided vocabulary when requested e.g. Almohada. The barman offered help with pronunciation. Good breakfast too.

There was significant noise from the bar from about 1:20 pm until after 2pm.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Check in and check out were efficient.

Not in the best location as on busy mall opposite supermarkets but only a 15min walk to the old town and Templar castle

Some staff was terrible. The property is located away from many food options and they close for 5 hours on a Friday night — 4:00-9:00. Drinks but no food options. This makes the McDonalds across the street look ok.

Not a real issue, but if you need an Internet connection use your 5G connection from the phone since the wifi-connection is real slow.

This is a very comfortable and quiet 3* hotel (there was a wedding when I stayed but in the 1st floor rooms it was very quiet). It is very clean and functional although the hotel came a bit in its years but for a short stay it is absolutely great. The entire staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I had a very good time there, I stayed 2 nights since I started my Camino from Ponferrada. Although the hotel is not in the city center (Ponferrada center is in walking distance) it was a great experience and as well the city center as the old town can be reached by walking. The only thing was the Wifi connection that is really slow and actually not fit for purpose but other than this everything was in perfect order.

Simple no-frills hotel on the edge of the town centre (10min walk to restaurants). Good underground parking for motorcycles. Decent breakfast.

Good reasonable budget hotel which we used on a recent visit to watch our team play the local club. On the outskirts but a reasonable walk to both the new and old parts of the town. Modern basic hotel . Rooms clean and adequate with good buffet breakfast. Staff really friendly and helpful.

Well located, good value for money, free parking (if you manage to get one of the spaces in front of the building... otherwise only 12.5 EUR anyway)
