Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PortugalThe unfriendly host. There was tabacco smell in the bedroom and strangely the bedside tables were very far from the bed.
The look and feel of the building's interior.

FranceAccess into the hotel and reception is in the bar (not unusual). The bright, comfortable bedroom was on the ground floor beyond the bar. I didn’t like the “wetroom” concept for the bathroom though. Having arrived much later than planned and chosen the hotel for the ability to park on the street and its restaurant, I was more than a little disappointed that I was unable to avail myself of either. Why? I was fiesta time. When I drove into town the roads in the area of the hotel were closed or blocked off so my satnav took me on a tortuous journey trying to find the hotel. When I eventually arrived, there wasn’t a parking space available anywhere near the hotel so I spent a long time driving around before eventually finding a space some way away. As you might expect, I found a couple of spaces much nearer as I walked back to the hotel !! The choice of tapas in the bar was minimal and, apart from the usual ensaladilla rusa, there was nothing I fancied. However, I saw no alternative places as I wandered back and forth sorting out the parking so I made the most of it - ensaladilla and a large slice of home-made empanadilla. Not a great start to my two week meander around central-west Spain but, choosing a period of time when most towns & villages on my route were in Fiesta was, in hindsight, not a good idea. Nothing wrong with the hotel although, because everything was closed apart from the bar, I can’t comment on what the hotel looked like inside to compare it with the lovely photos on the website. I thought it was a little pricy compared with others I stayed in on my journey but nice people, friendly locals popping in and out of the bar and, if the restaurant had been open, I would have been more than content with my stay

United KingdomLoved this property, a bit disappointed that the restaurant wasn’t open. Only a short walk to the plaza that had lots of options though.
Beautiful traditional hotel. Loads of original features. Very friendly people and great breakfast, so reasonably priced.

United KingdomBreakfast was very limited to coffee and a few toasted items, but reasonably priced. Parking in the town is very tight, and it was necessary to park some distance from the hotel, but it was free! Because of the hard finishes in the building, there was some noise from the other rooms, and also from passing traffic even though it is on a side street. There were no tea-making facilities in the room.
A very local and typical Spanish small inn, more of a bar/restaurant with some rooms. Lots of character, and the one evening meal I had there was excellent. I liked the local feel of the place with numerous locals calling in the mornings for coffee and a chat. The room was large and clean, and the owners were friendly and helpful, although for English visitors note that they didn't speak any English!

SpainWe didn’t dislike anything so it’s hard to find anything bad to say. We would visit again the next time we’re in the area.
This is a lovey hotel which was spotless and with a very comfortable bed. The location is close to the Plaza and shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly in particular Adolfo who made us breakfast. A very good tostada con tomate y jamon and great coffee. The hotel is unique with it’s lovely indoor garden too.

MaltaThe air-conditioning kept turning off and until it turned back on, it got too hot. This wakes you up in the middle of the night and the sleeping experience was very uncomfortable.

SpainNoise of other guests at midnight.
wonderful place but the hotel should warn guests that when they go up to the rooms at night around midnight ( that noise is prohibited )or at two in the morning they do not go up like elephants and shouting loudly as if they were at home. As the guests came up, they woke me up at twelve, half past one and two in the morning, people are not educated and the hotel should warn them not to make noise after midnight, the legal hour of silence. Because the rooms are very close.

United KingdomWe had Room 7 with a window over the back courtyard - some barbeque smoke/smells on Saturday night, and a few noises from the kitchen but didn't disturb us too much.
Very authentic style, very clean, staff very friendly and helpful even though I don't speak any Spanish. Evening meal in the courtyard was excellent. Breakfast was served quickly. Bathroom facilities were excellent with a very powerful shower, shampoo etc provided. Really large and comfortable bed with additional blankets.
